I disagree . Living in a dream is a bad idea since your desire never came in Reality .

You will never how People you want the most will be gone forever.

Your Freedom will be restricted to your dreams you cannot live with it others and share with them.

It will be just big illusion tasting success in reality is way more different than dreaming it you will know the pain and Endurance from this.

This basically makes us Humans we simply don't accept reality as facts and go for fictional and Myth to hide our fear that is Death . People don't accept this word because dying is also part of our life cycle and fear it .

IT is stated to give people immortality via tree connection. Just like how that tree by the Gedo kept Madara from dying of old age. Solving world hunger, saving people from incurable diseases, and an ideal thing for sucidal people or people who just don't want to rot in the ground. What if these things happened to a loved one?

A dream world where you can get anything you want, no rules, no responsibilities, every one of your whims granted, and no sadness for an eternal is just giant bonus.

Before the Zetsu recton it was stated that IT keeps people alive. The tree was keeping them alive like with oldman Madara, as they were still alive after getting their chakra sucked out.

Still doesn't change the fact that one person has absolutely no right to dictate other's lives. How would you like it if someone came into your life and started telling you what to do with your life? Don't piss, don't eat, don't run because that's what it is. Complete control over your being.

That's cool by me, but doesn't stop people from fighting over the illusion of it. People have debated for ages if freedom exists or not, but the fact remains that people will wage wars for freedom.

Of course there would be many people against it. But there will also be tons of people for it. If Obito had told people that being connected to the God Tree basically made them immortal along with living in a perfect world for an eternity, he would have gained a large amount of supporters.
