I found this post on youtube this sums this up basically

Alright, let's get some things straight :

1/ Sakura has always loved Sasuke (much like every other ***** in the Ninja Academy with the exception of a few girls) and only started to respect Naruto as a person when Sasuke admonished her for saying that him acting like a goofball is due to Naruto not having parents. Hinata respected Naruto from day one because she identifies with his loneliness and struggle to better himself. Call it pity or whatever, but Hinata is much more empathetic than Sakura ;

2/ Sakura didn't see any worth in Naruto until he saved her ass from Gaara and when she discovered that he was a Jinchuriki and was constantly targeted by Akatsuki. Hinata, on the other hand, always believed in Naruto's potential and dreams even before he became famous ;

3/ Sakura, no matter how strong she became, was always a thorn in Naruto's side : during Sasuke's defection, she didn't go with the search party. When they met Sasuke for the first time after 3 years, she just stood there like an idiot, whining. And don't get me started on the Pain arc... She stood there not doing anything (not even properly healing the citizens, most of the healing was done by Katsuyu) and whining again. Hinata, unlike Sakura, didn't have much focus at first because she's a supporting character, but her role shifted slowly : she encouraged Naruto prior to his battle against Neji, held her own against Guren and risked her life defending Naruto against Pain. She didn't shed a single tear out of helplessness and never asked for help. She only cries out of frustration because she isn't strong enough to be truly helpful to Naruto.

4/ Sakura seems to always dump her problems and issues on Naruto - hell, even Sai pointed it to her after Karui and Omoi beat the living daylights out of Naruto because he wouldn't rat out Sasuke. Hinata shouldered her own problems on her own and was motivated by Naruto's determination. She never asked for his help at all.

5/ Lots and lots of beatings, insults and other forms of abuse from Sakura... Hinata only slapped Naruto once to snap him out of Obito's rhetoric.

Long story short :

1/ Guys wanting to ban a manga because a fictional pairing didn't happen is nothing short of moronic. I don't think these guys have any brains in their heads ;
2/ Given the abovementioned reasons, the pairings Naruto-Hinata and Sakura-Sasuke are logical : in an ideal world (a manga world in this case), the good guy gets the nice (and in Hinata's case, freaking hot) girl and the ***** gets the *******.
This was nicely said.

Sasuke and Sakura is in no way 'logical' but other than that, everything is correct.

I don't know about that. I thought Kushina, Konan, and Anko were pretty good characters.
Kushina apparently gave up her Hokage dream for Minato.In other words reduced to a housewife.Females in the 21st century dont give up on their dreams just for the sake of their husbands and stay in the kitchen
Konan was shown to have a crush on Yahiko and for the most part she didnt seem that epic
Anko became fat btch at the end.Shitted on by Kishi

The editor who makes SD should have stayed on Kishimoto's team.

Rock Lee SD manga has actually had some pretty well done chapters with good charcater development for a comedy spin off. Hell, that manga actually gave HanabiHiashi, and Hinata an actual relationship and developed their bonds

I don't know about that. I thought Kushina, Konan, and Anko were pretty good characters.
Kushina just fits a mother stereotype and was the damsel in distress for Minato to look cool, as well as a plot device to motivate him (most of his flashbacks were about her).

Konan had no theme to her other than being a follower. She and Nagato followed Yahiko when they were alive, then, Nagato followed Tobi and Konan followed Nagato. She did nothing of her own mindset, she just chose that she wanted to do whatever her comrades did. After Nagato's death, she admitted that she didn't really know what she was going to do. She just fought Tobi and wanted to protect Naruto's wish because it was something Nagato wanted as well.

Anko had no character development in the story and was only used as comic relief in the end. She's obese now, and yet used to be one of the most fit shinobi. Kishimoto basically sent off the theme that you can't be beautiful if you're still single once you hit 40+. Lol

Kushina is the best out of these 3. She at least could think for herself and had her own individual theme (that of a loving mother that the story didn't have prior to her entrance). She had a decent back story (struggled as a jin) and her most important relationships received development (Minato and Naruto).

Konan was interesting just by being an Akatsuki member. She also had an interesting back story, since she was a part of the Ame orphans trio. However, take away Yahiko and Nagato... this character doesn't have anything. All of her actions are based on the dreams/aspirations of the latter two, none of the ideas she followed in her life were originally her's.

Anko had an interesting back story. Kishimoto could have delved into what occurred when she was Orochimaru's subordinate. However, he did not and only left her to be comic relief and fan service.

Tsunade was the most well-written female character, however, the female characters in this manga are average-written at best. The runner up would probably be Kushina. After that, it's up to fan interpretation since the majority weren't distinguished enough in the story.

My point still stands. My original post said that someone should not have a female as their fave, this doesn't imply that none were okay. It just means that there are other characters that happen to be male that were done more justice and therefore it would make sense that people gravitate towards them more. Also keep in mind that there's a difference between a likeable character and a well-written one. Danzo can be a well-written character while Suigetsu can be a likeable one, but the reverse doesn't apply for example.

Sakura would've been a decent female character if there was no romantic interest to some cool looking guy, strong and popular but in the end she paired up with Sasuke which revert back to how she's always was in part 1, her as a typical highschool crush. Just recently, I watched some latest episode of Naruto, and the way Rin treated Obito makes sakura look even worse.

From the very beginning, whenever naruto vs sasuke fight happen, Sakura was always rooting for Sasuke, she always shat on Naruto and even insulted him as an orphan. Compare to sakura, when the fight happened between Kakashi vs Obito, Rin despite loving Kakashi showed strong concern to both of her teamate. But for the most part, Rin always treated obito too nicely, the amount of time they spend together, Rin trys to encourage Obito to not give up.

For the most part, it took so long for Sakura to acknowledge Naruto when she had to rely him to bring back Sasuke kun, or when he saved the village or the ninja world because she realized how strong Naruto is and being the most popular among the village. So in other word Sakura never show compassion to Naruto knowing he always gets mistreated, to sakura it's all about being cool, popular and strong.
so basically you're mad bc she's not nice with the Nice Guy? Get out.
Yes, Sakura was a blind fangurl back in part 1 and i won't deny the comment she made about Naruto was mean, however when Sasuke scolded her about loneliness, she saw the errors of her ways and she started acting nicer with Naruto. What more do you want? She cares a **** tons about Naruto, she worried for him, cried for for him and supported his dream. Sakura did plenty of things for Naruto. And last time I checked, when Naruto and Sasuke fought at the hospital rooftop she wanted them BOTH to stop. She wasn't all about Sasuke, like you trynna promote here.

Sakura has encouraged Naruto too, darling. Since chapter 3, Sakura started treating Naruto like a friend. She only hits him when he says something dumb and most of the time he deserves it.

Honestly tho, your whole post is a Nice Guy butthurt tears. Bye.

Sakura did not even thank Naruto for bringing the love of her life back and fulfilling his promise and the reason why she was able to hook up with him in the first place.So much friendship there.LOL

She basically used Naruto and threw him away when Sasuke kun returned.Its a good thing Sasuke has her dusting furniture.

Rock Lee should have got Sakura. It would have done justice to the fact that Kishi barely gave him any screen time, and with all Sakura's "intellegence" she should have valued hard work more than genius.

yep she is and with everybody not just Naruto and not just in part 1, it's part of her personality hmm
i really think Kishi portrayed one of his ex with Sakura, smells like sweet tasty revenge...
Lol You're not the first to think that. My personal theory is that Kishi makes her character into a joke whenever he's having a bad week .

Don't let Paratise catch you saying that .

Sakura was always my least favorite character. She had major relationship issues... she stuck with Sasuke even after he told her she was worthless.

However, my girl Hinata was one of the best written female characters in the entire series. She not only grew as a person, but she played a crucial role in saving our main hero from falling into doubt. I liked how she came out of her shell and became this epic ninja that everyone knew she was. She was also super humble and never bragged about her abilities, unlike Sakura or Tsunade.

Well no one is bothered with this detail. I'm surprised Mei was not listed - her having flashy abilities is enough to be counted as a "developed" character for many.

Thing is Sakura couldn't fall in love with Naruto ( guys don't like rejection) , still Naruto was longing her for a considerable period( annoying girls whose own target of crush is looking is focused on someone else and isn't even looking at them) was enough to get her hated to begin with. It didn't help that she had no Flashy tech or more exposed body to make her more interesting for fanservice lovers. On top of it some wanted their favourite character to get a girl with better gene-pool or clan ( arranging married for profit.. cough* and most of them would scream at arranged marriage idea.)

It didn't help that she was part of the team 7 with most OP characters of the manga and instead of just making sandwitches and being just another Rin( just a nice supporting medic+ damsel in distress to be protected), she kept trying to be able to keep up with them- Something which instantly would make her a target for misogynist fun by all.

In the end despite being the most developed female character, Sakura still doesn't satisfy expectations of many users because of one draw back on another as stated above. She has realistic ambitions and limits and weaknesses as well. But while making her Kishi constantly struggles to make a place for her in a shonnen where women are needed but not allowed to overshadow the males characters. Right there but a step behind.

Hinata on the other hand was presented as an ideal wife material for most of the guys out there- good figure, polite and devoted and she has bayakugan and inheritance of Hyuga clan to boot.

No one is going to question why she didn't try to take care of a wild Bolt drawing on hokage faces during such an important meet in the village. Shouldn't she be more alert about picking him from school and taking him to Neji's grave when his antics seem to be well known? No one would let Sakura get away with that kind of negligence:)p) if she was the final pairing. Even her child cannot be her own and her relationship must be abusive(Interestingly enough even some Sasuke fanboys join this idea- tells something about the kind of fan they were for that character) to satisfy the hate.

It's funny that people are so passionate about her character ( even if negatively) even after the ending of series when they are no longer discussing Naruto or Sasuke all that much. it can be a topic for a thesis. :p

I don't have patience to read that long wall of text
Of course not. But you have infinite patience to hate imaginary character which didn't do anything personally to you.
