This right here. A shinobi of Tobirama's caliber and hype should have easily toyed with a mere 20 shinobi of less than Kage level. Even with minor difficulty, he should have easily been able to survive long enough for his squad to reach safety, and later flee himself. U_U

The only reasonable explanation is that the previous assassination attempt left him severely crippled in an unnoticeable way.

I know but OP is trying to know which one would win between the 1 MS kakashi and the shinobi that killed tobiroma (probably) so I was just explaining why tobiroma> 1 MS kakashi

Other way around, in the end.

Kin and Gin with Sage's Tools slaughtered Second Raikage, and Tobirama took them extreme high-diff. It explains why they vanished, Tobirama (according to Tsunade) lived and then the Gin squad hunted him for vengeance. The brothers aren't the first Edos to state they won a battle when they didn't either (*cough* Deidara *cough* Gengetsu)

People forget how strong the brothers are due to the fact that Darui and his company had full intel and the Sealing Pot which made it a whole lot easier, imagine how things would have gone if they hadn't one or the other, or both for that fact, like Tobirama did.
