The general premise of P5 has already been revealed. So what do you guys think P5 will be about?
We had a more in-depth discussion/predictions about it a few pages back. I'm too lazy to look for it, but it's there somewhereThe story of Persona 5 will discuss the hardships of modern-day society and feature characters that are restrained by the rules set by this society. As a result, players will be confronted with trials and chains that they will have to overcome. Much like the previous installments of the series the game is set in a high school - however, the mood and tone will be different. Hashino explains that Persona 5 is about a kind of freedom that is different from the other games in the series. This freedom is meant to liberate those who "are bored and discontent with their lives". Despite this, Atlus expects and wants players of Persona 3 and Persona 4 to feel at home with this game. Persona 5 is meant to be an emotional experience that stirs up its audience and finally lets them go with a strong message of catharsis after everything is said and done.
Just asking, is the P4 Platinum thing serious?Persona 4 -プラチナ- PLATINUM just got announced, here's the reveal trailer...
So funny, yet so true
Goddammit Magatsu, don't play with my heart like this T^TPersona 4 -プラチナ- PLATINUM just got announced, here's the reveal trailer...

LOL, no, it's a joke.Just asking, is the P4 Platinum thing serious?
And I'll read it later
Sorry Souji, I have to have my fun sometimesGoddammit Magatsu, don't play with my heart like this T^T
Nah. People are speculating too much. If any P3/4 characters are going to be a "central" part of the game, there's no way they'd be first introduced in such a way in the trailer. There's no concrete evidence as to why it would be Nanako, so what would even be the point of putting her there in the first place? So, do you guys think that the girl on P5 teaser is Nanako?
Ok, sorry, I just thought that it looked like herNah. People are speculating too much. Then again, you can see Rise (or an obvious nod to her) on a billboard in the trailer. So who knows. But I highly, highly doubt it.
It's better if P5 has a completely standalone story, at this point. Both from a narrative point of view, and for the series as a whole.
All good.Ok, sorry, I just thought that it looked like her
And I saw that list of yours in the back pages, LOL, is P4 cast so weak like that?
Stopping time?All good.
It's not that they're weak, per se. It's that others are stronger or have "better" feats by doing things like stopping time, using nuclear power, etc. But there are still P4 characters who are up there, such as Yu and Adachi.
Haha, there's only one person who can do that, and it's not like he spams the ability like a DBZ fight. I'm pretty sure he only used it once, but it's still a feat nonetheless.Stopping time?
Dafq?
I thought Persona Universe wasn't like DBZverse

But there's still quite a lot of reality warping and other crazy stuff that goes on in Persona.
For example, Minato, the protagonist of P3: defeated a Universe-level threat, sealed it (which should have instantly made him die), learned the meaning of life and ascended to a higher level of existance, and then to top it all off, resisted death on sheer willpower so he could keep a promise to his friends.
Maybe, they thought this idea at a certain point late in development, but then thought "Didn't we already have a blue-haired protagonist" then the other guy would say "I don't knowWhile I was doing some browsing, I came upon this interesting image.
This is a promo illustration for Persona 4, released to game retailers sometime in early 2008. Notice anything interesting about everyone's favorite Brotagonist on the game DVD?
He has blue hair! And blue eyes!
Does this mean that this was his original design?
Agreed. The Persona series has one of the best, most varied OSTs out of any games I've ever played.I'm addicted to P4 and P4A soundtrack
God it's so good
Anyway, what is you guys favorite character of all Persona?
