I thought this was clear already. Hmm. Nah, I would not say silver trophy. I would say he grew out of his childhood love and found a more mature love for the rest of his life. Doesn't mean hinata is not the best spouse for him. Guess everyone experienced similiar situations.

The movie is needed to retcon pairings, not a surprise at all.

Indeed, watching that retcon for NaruHina will make you feel complete. I on the other hand won't be watching the movie so there is no need for comedic tears of boredom.

Yeah which is why your tears are showing. Shows how badly you wanted your vision of ending.

Ok tell me this. How would you have ended this manga? Also what would your vision of part 3 be if there was one?

some people call it rebound.. some call it maturing.. im sure naruto cudve banged sakura anytime after that confession wether false or not.. but it proved he wasnt in love.. cuz he wouldve looked over that and blindly go with it.. he had no reason to like sakura except she was a nice girl..

but u morons fail to realise that not because a chick says she loves ya means you will throw yourself at her.. atleast no man that isnt thirsty would... hinata will go and gain more than his love.. but respect..

i can tell you.. loving a woman is one thing.. its pretty easy to do.. finding a reason for why other than lust is pretty hard

Naruto never really showed a reason to love Sakura. Not sure how can anyone support such a crush?

This seems out of the blue, especially when I never claimed that I could do better than Kishi.

For starters, he simply shouldn't have put in all the pairing bait and teases and actually developed them more. It would even have been more effective if there was an interaction directly after the Pein Invasion arc. I mean... even if it was Naruto saying that he needed to sort out his own feeling first not just leave it at nothing.

There even could have been at least one chapter after the war of "pairing" interactions to smooth it over, instead it is some cheesy romance movie which Naruto - the knight in shining armour- likely goes to save Hinata - the damsel in distress-; providing that the possible spoilers:
about Hinata forced to marry the antagonist or she is kidnapped or whatever; I haven't payed all too much attention to the details of the last.
are true. Hell, he could even have the movie to reinforce the prior interaction and fill in the gap as well.

I probably wouldn't do a part 3 at all, but I think if it was necessary this short... Spin off, or Side story is the right way of going about it.
