Dragon Ball, as in the entire thing from Kid Goku tanking Bulma's gun to Goku and Uub leaving. With the legacy, impact, and mindless awesomeness of DBZ added to the plot, development and better story of DB, you can kind of understand why it was ranked the greatest

It was, but apparently the rushed and overall bad ending didn't leave a positive impact on the fans, even Togashi was unsatisfied with it. Hunter x Hunter is in the list as it deserves.

Yeah, Togashi wanted to be done with it and go on to next series (or play more video games ). But even with the rushed ending, YYH was/is a masterpiece. It should definitely be Top 5-10.
