I'm not getting how this concept of a new dimension works. Does Kaguya create a whole new universe? Or just an alternative earth , but then from space you can't see it.

If anyone has any information on this from the databook or something.. please share, because i'm really interested in this. Since its stated shes the only one who can possibly do this ability (not even the rikudou can attempt it).

I'm sure a dimension would be an entirely new universe, therefore yes.

Yes.

In that sense, NV (Planet Earth along with the rest of the universe is contained within a dimension, or the universe itself can be considered the dimension.

Take your pick.

Yes it is a new universe. One thing to note is that not all universes are the same size. Technically a dimension that is only the size of a room can still be called a different universe from our own, as long as it exists independent of our universe.

Kaguya can create new universes, but they are likely infinitesimally small compared to the normal universe

hm, they'd have a barrier or boundary as to where the person can travel up to?

It's hard to know really.

Even the Kamui Dimension seems as vast as our own.

Nah she isn't. Kaguya's dimensions are likely only the size of the earth, moon and their distance to mars.

Indeed it is hard to know, but obito didn't create the kamui dimension so it shouldn't be surprising that it may be as big as the normal universe.

I doubt kaguya has the energy required to create an entirely new universe that is a match for ours in size.

Not necessarily, a new dimension could simple be a vast space but not a universe, meaning that it most likely has a ceiling and walls (figuratively speaking). Those dimensions that Kaguya was opening are most likely large "rooms" in other words that's the only thing found in that small dimension.

Yes they would. Even our universe, theoretically speaking has boundries. The only thing is that it is impossible for us to ever reach them

yea but she can CREATE a dimension, nobody in dbz can.

True. Janemba possibly could. Since he seems to be able to manipulate existing dimensions simultaneously, but that's just a theory.

The person who created the room of spirit and time created a new dimension

Kaguya is truely op. Creating dimensions and universes, thats way higher than dbz level. No one in dbz can create that. That means kaguya has big bang power(BIG BANG: theorized by scientist as an explosion powerful enough to create existence) and bz said kaguya's tsb was expanding and was going to explode(BIG BANG) and create a new dimension(universe). that means naruto manga is the most op manga of all time.

Who needs to create a new dimension when they can scream and make a hole in the fabric of reality of that dimension.
Remember SSj3 gotenks he tore a whole in Hyper Bolic time chamber's dimension by just screaming.

Kaguya doesn't even need to raise her voice, she just asks the fabric of time and space to rip itself to shreds nicely, and it does.

databook said that her expansive TSB can "return the world to nothing". Which leads me to believe to believe that her dimensions are world sized but then again her desert dimension has light(obviously) so that means there's a sun somewhere unless the dimension can generate it's own light(The latter doesn't seem that logical tbh). So im not really sure but i doubt it's universe sized. :|

Kamui world is a pocket dimension so its small.

I have no clue, but if it does mean a new universe, and not simply a separate dimension with just a planet, that Kaguya's>>>>>>DBZ. (sorry, but it's true)

Dimensions contain multiple universes, which contain multiple galaxies, and so on. A dimension can have many aspects and rules of life different than ours, and two dimensions should usually never be able to communicate with one another.
