Considering the fact that Guy almost took out Ten Tails Madara, I am pretty sure with assistance he would have definitely beaten Madara completely.

Considering Madara let him hit him and not used any jutsus that we know he has plus Gai had help from Edo Minato, Lee, Kakashi, and Gaara which is a stronger team than team Gai, I don't see team Gai lasting long in this fight. Oh and O.T. Got it wrong, Lee's highest gate was 6 gate not 7 or are you talking about Lee and Tenten at the end of the manga and war arc Gai and Neji?
Let's list jutsus Madara used, now gaining the Juubi doesn't make you forget jutsus (some fanboy believes Madara can't use jutsus Edo Madara used as if he somehow forgot them).
Edo Madara used Deva path with his Susanoo to pull down meteors, absorbed ninjutsus, used powerful katon, used genjutsu with 3T and EMS, PS, wood clones which can use all the jutsus Madara can, forest emergence, flower world which release pollen that renders you unconcious, wood dragon. Alive Madara with 1 eye used Susanoo to block Tobirama's water needles and used Limbos. Now let's add the Juubi's chakra to the mix which gives Madara the TSBs which is capable of negating ninjutsus and it can even block powerful senjutsu attacks as Juubito (weaker than Madara) could do.
No one on team Gai can see or sense Limbo or get through TSB shield. flower tree world causes a large amount of branches to surround and even crush those in its path but I do see Neji using rotation to block it or Gai going 7th gate to use afternoon tiger to make a path that keeps them saved but Gai would be unable to move and would have to go 8th gate to keep fight plus the wood would still release its pollen on them.
Madara can use wood clones which uses limbo as well plus use Deva path to pull meteors down while he flies out of the meteor range. Afternoon tiger isn't breaking it so he'll have to use his 8th gate jutsus and even then that would take a lot but then here comes the 2nd meteor. Madara used storm element 2 times against Naruto and Sasuke, Rinnegan lets him use any element so jinton, lava, storm, boiling, ice, ect... Can pull Gai to him and impale him with TSB as well. His PS would be somewhat like what Sasuke's PS+Bijuu was but stronger since Sasuke wasn't using all of the Bijuu's chakra and the Juubi is stronger.
