Yeah, I know it's a very unpopular opinion to have, but I don't bandwagon on shit so whatever. I like Kaguya! Inb4 "Buu...but! She don't have no character development!?!" :stfu: I honestly could care less. I think she's a very cool looking character with amazing abilities in her arsenal and there is no debate she is the strongest being in the verse. Also there were huge hints of her having character like when she cried, but obviously we didn't get a flashback like for Kabuto or Obito. Either it was a rushed thing or she was just there to test out Naruto and Sasuke new powers and to prolong the fight between them, we will probably never know, but anyway I think she's pretty cool :whip: Eh I already know I'm about to be attacked for having this opinion :beat: lay it on me already!

I mean, you're free to have your opinion. I don't agree with your standards, but hey, do you.

Well I wouldn't really call that liking a character. You just think she looks cool and that's pretty much it and so does everyone else I wager.

As for character development, she has none. In the databook it said that she got angry that her sons were born with her chakra and fused with Shinju to become the Juubi and fight her sons to take back the chakra.

Both Hagoromo and Hamura didn't know that the Juubi they were fighting was also Kaguya. So her tearing up makes no sense since she tried to kill them in the first place just to get back their chakra.

It is your opinion, I respect it. Plus, I believe there is still a chance for character development in the upcoming movie (The main bad guy is linked to kaguya so, who knows ^^).

Personally, I do think the fight was a bit lackluster since she didn't get to showcase the full extent of her powers. I mean, she was hyped up to be the most powerful entity in the narutoverse with godlike abilities and in the end, she didn't really live up to this. Her design was cool though and it's true that she did show interesting feats.

Man, the main character ended up marrying a character with no development so give Kaguya a break Lol

The focus on the Uchiha's was the downfall of the manga.

It seems you haven't read the last two chapters, Naruto actually ended up marrying Hinata.

Honestly, Kaguya isn't that bad of a character as people claim her to be. She is alright as an individual character but as a villain, she is an eyesore. She was great at first, but slowly loss that villainous appeal as her fighting style became more of a "hide and seek" game and she relied more on BZ's intellect, instead of acting on her. Her backstory is quite deep but there are some mysteries or unexplained details surrounding it.

Not a bad thing-no development is better than negative character development. Kaguya was the FV and the expectations of her character were high. Taking that into account, she's the biggest disappointment in the entire manga.

OT: No wonder this is an " unpopular" opinion.

The only reason Kaguya was introduced was because kishi made madara so OP that she literally had to come out of his ass to nullify him as a threat.

Alright as an individual character? I disagree. She has no discernable personality aside from she hates her sons and she's selfish with chakra. She was a disappointment in her role. Her only redeemable traits is that her powers were good, and the fact that she squandered them and was only using them effectively because of Black Zetsu ruined that. She has no development, her backstory can be summed up in two sentences, and her goals were vague and unexplained. There isn't anything redeemable about Kaguya really.

If it wasn't for Lord Sasuke, this manga would have gone downhill a long time ago

The fact that you call Sasuke "Lord" tells me that you are autistic or trolling, please tell me which one is.

Yeah, I agree with this here a lot actually. As a villain she is really meh honestly I won't lie about that and somethings do need to be explained like the whole army thing. Still curious about that.

Au contraire, people just judge her too hard for a villain who had to be killed off in 10 chapters in order to let space for a Sasuke vs Naruto fight.

Yeah, she is pretty cool ;)

and she would be MUCH MORE better If Kishi has handled her properly

True, I hope the movie at least clear up some things about her or at least about the whole army situation. That's probably my biggest concern with her at the moment.

Yeah. The concept was great to start out with. Some emotions, a backstory and a backbone to her character would've done the trick for me
