Kaguya's nine tomoe eye=Original sharingan

-Hagoromo states in addition to the byakugan, Kaguya also possessed the sharingan and their powers combined were gruesome. This was why everyone under the infinite tsukuyomi had the rinnegan eyes rather than the nine tomoe eyes because the rinnegan, which Hagoromo was born with, is a combination of the nine tomoe and byakugan.

Hagoromo/Madara eyes=original rinnegan

-They both possess the six paths and are purple

Sasuke's eye=new rinnegan/six tomoe rinnegan=/=kaguya/juubi eye

-Sasuke obtained Hagoromo's chakra, but not his DNA, thus he unlocked a different but similar rinnegan with the six paths as well as his tomoe and mangekyou techniques left intact. His rinnegan color is also purple like the original. Being that it is purple with the six paths and only six tomoe, this is not the juubi/kaguya's eye. The six tomoes may also hold in them each of the six paths so that Sasuke would be able to use them with one eye.

Hagoromo's forehead mark=/=a third eye

-It's either a tattoo representing ninshuu as the same tattoo appears on the back of his, Obito, Naruto's robe and Ashura's robes, or a seal to keep the third eye from manifesting and corrupting his mind and body. The lines to its side are also straight, not curved like kaguya's and its illustration is flat.

You must be registered for see images

Indra's spiral eye=mangekyou sharingan=/=rinnegan

-Black Zetsu stated he failed like the other transmigrants after him until Madara who unlocked the rinnegan and the canon color to the eye is red.

You must be registered for see images

Obito and Madara could not use the six paths with only one Rinnegan

-Obito failed to use any of the six paths in all of his life and death situations while Madara obsessed over getting his second eye back, Obito stated the two together are the full power and Madara immediately used deva path after getting the eye back when he too did not use it or any of the six paths prior, save for in his edo form when he still had both. The outer path, which pieces chakra out into avatars, summons and controls the mazou and uses rinnetensei is a rinnegan technique, but not of the six paths. According to Konan, it is the seventh. Limbo is not classified as a technique of any path.

Madara's Izanagi

-He was either able to use it due to Hashirama's flesh and chakra digesting into his system or used a different sharingan to place it, as a comparison was made with Itachi putting Amaterasu in Sasuke's eye. The eye either regenerated automatically from manifesting the Rinnegan, or healed over time due to Hashirama's healing powers.

wasnt it stated that obito could have used the six path with his one rinne but he couldnt with the jinchuriki's since it consumed too much chakra. Also didnt he use animal path when he summoned the gedo statue to the battlefield

Wasn't that just the translator using the term and not an actual translation? That's how I read it anyway.

Gedo mazou's summoning is the outer path, not the six paths, along with the avatarization and rinne tensei. And he didn't exactly state he could use them in the war arc. He just said Kakashi was smart to think he wouldn't. That could mean that was part of the whole reason he DIDN'T BRING the other eye, because it would have consumed too much chakra and since Obito's capacity and mastery of the Rinnegan was probably on par or lower than Nagato's, it would have been a waste of time because they had counters for most of the paths. He also would not have been able to use his Kamui. He stated he could use the human path to Kabuto, but this was immediately after he reobtained both rinnegan and while they were still at the hideout before the war.

No, The translator would've said that they would use "rinne sharingan" to refer kaguya's forehead eye as that if that were the case.

Very good thread.I didn't think of some of the stuff you said, like Sasuke's Eye being purple cause he received the Sage's chakra who also had a purple Rinnegan, and the six paths being in the six tomoes.

its apart of the 6 paths technique. the fact that nagato was able to use it seeing as though obito was the one who taught him to use the rinnegan and madara being the one who taught obito i think its safe to say he was able to use it but cool beans

No, The translator would've said that they would use "rinne sharingan" to refer kaguya's forehead eye as that if that were the case.

Incorrect.

"The birth of Hagoromo and Hamura. Kaguya's Chakra had become dispersed.
However, Kaguya ruled by herself and often resorted to cruelty. The Byakugan, the Sharingan, and the Infinite Tsukuyomi—these jutsu wielded by Kaguya were regarded with fear, awe, and reverance by the people. At some indefinite point, the Rabbit Goddess had instead become known as a Demon. Then Kaguya found herself ruled by her own desire to possess all chakra."

"A technique used by Kaguya with her "Rinnesharingan". Changes the world around the user and the people around her into another dimension. The dimensions it can move to are ones of lava, ice, gravity, sand, and acid, and these five dimensions are directly linked to (whatever dimension Black Zetsu mentions back when Naruto is there with them. I can't remember or figure out how to translate it). Using it consumes a huge amount of Chakra, making it an eye technique only she can use."

The first paragraph refers to it as the sharingan and the second puts rinnesharingan in separate quotations from the databooks just as sure as I read before. Though you don't really need the databook on account that Hagoromo directly calls it sharingan in the manga.

Then explain why Sasuke calls MT a "rinnegan genjutsu"?

No, it is part of the outer path technique, separate from the six. Six paths technique just refers to Hagoromo's power. Naruto is directly classified as possessing six paths power and technique as he has his senjutsu, gudou damas, the ninshuu symbol and the ability to fly.

the fact that nagato was able to use it seeing as though obito was the one who taught him to use the rinnegan and madara being the one who taught obito i think its safe to say he was able to use it but cool beans

Obito taught Nagato nothing. He told Nagato about his power and that's all. Nagato learned the six paths by himself and summoned the gedo by himself, which in that very first time, paralyzed him. You can't use or show someone how to use the rinne tensei unless you have the rinnegan and nothing states or shows he taught him or that the two switched eyes while Akatsuki was forming. All Obito could do was control the mazou as Madara stated due to having both senju and uchiha DNA and chakra.

The quotations emphasized on it.

And I am talking about the literal six paths and not the "seven paths" lols. They are separate for a reason, just as outer path is called..well, the outer path lols. And wikipedia is not a valid source anymore. It's rack with mistakes, biases and fallacies and has been for a while. Use the manga, viz scan, interviews and databooks to support yourself. Those are translated by credited translators. Any random person can put whatever info they want into wikipedia.

outer path is apart of the technique

Outer path is not named with the literal six paths and as I stated before, part of it could be used even without the rinnegan.

it was implied in 607 that obito would teach nagato the techs if he came with him

That was Obito trying to form Akatsuki.

and madara did teach obito the techniques

He showed him a mural and said he would teach him the techniques that control the mazou as well as the yin yang release. You can't use the six paths unless you have the rinnegan, which madara did not have at the time. The only path confirmed to be usable without it is the outer path, consisting of mazou summoning, control, avatarization and rinne tensei, and the only confirmed technique from that without the rinnegan at all was controlling the mazou. Obito throughout the entire war and juubi arcs possessed one rinnegan and did not once use the six paths. Madara too did not after he was revived, even after he absorbed the juubi. Instead, all he could do was create diversions using senjutsu and limbo while finally able to use the deva path after getting the second eye back.

Rinnesharingan and sharinnegan are not a real words. They are urban suffixes created by the fandom and the noun "power" also refers to the byakugan. So, by your logic, we can also call the byakugan the byakusharingan or rinnegan, or whatever invalid nonsense you want to make up, not to mention "rinnegan" genjutsu simply being a jutsu and not the real rinnegan. The byakugan is mentioned along with her sharingan, and the bubble afterward implies the use of both since it refers to ocular "powers". Plural. Rinnegan is not mentioned in those two sentences, at all. And finally, Kaguya did not use the six paths. I suppose you could argue she used preta to absorb amaterasu, however, you also have she being both the progenitor of chakra and the shinju all in one and the shinju absorbed the chakras and life forces of the shinobi alliance. You may also recall, kaguya did not use jutsus, she used kekkei genkis. It was Hagoromo and Indra who created ninshuu and ninjutsu.

Alright I am OK with this. Sasuke has a rinnegan that has the complete power of the 6 paths+Sharingan which makes it like the RinneSharingan in a power sense (MT-like genjutsu and swapping ability), but it is still a rinnegan and therefore inferior to the Rinne-Sharingan

Uuuuuugh...There's no such thing as a rinnesharingan lols. It's an urban suffix. Just call it the nine tomoe sharingan or original sharingan. I'm calling Sasuke's the six tomoe Rinnegan.

Why are you so in denial? Unless you can speak japanese and tell me that the databook didn't call it a rinne sharingan then i'll believe you. Clearly kaguya's power split between her sons. Hagoromo has rinnegan and hamura has byakugan or are you going to tell me that the sages dad has rinnegan? If so then you have no proof for that matter.

Would u rather I called Kaguya's her Kekkei Mora instead? Sasuke's I already call it 6T Rinnegan

Anyway, what r your feelings on the content of my previous post?

I don't care what you call it so long as it's not sharinnegan or Rinnesharingan lols. They're just urban suffixes like Juubito or Rikudara -_- Yes, Kekkei Mora I suppose would be the most accurate.

Anyway, what r your feelings on the content of my previous post?

We're in agreement. :)

Why are you so in denial? Unless you can speak japanese and tell me that the databook didn't call it a rinne sharingan then i'll believe you.

I already gave you a quote from the databook showing that the translator gave it a separate quotation from the translations. It was never once mentioned in the manga and the suffix was created LOOOONG before the databook came out lols. If that isn't enough reasoning, then there's nothing else to discuss about it. I'm not in denial about anything. I'm simply interpreting things differently from you, and with good reason.

Clearly kaguya's power split between her sons. Hagoromo has rinnegan and hamura has byakugan or are you going to tell me that the sages dad has rinnegan? If so then you have no proof for that matter.

I've never mentioned their father and I don't believe they even had one cosndiering it's stated Kaguya had them right after she ate the fruit and Hagoromo greatly mirrors the messiah archetype.

If this is true, why are Hagoromo's eyes purple and not red with no tomoes, and thus resembling the byakugan more? Why is it that Hagoromo's rinnegan can see chakra networks like the byakugan while Kaguya needed her byakugan to see them? Why is it Kaguya did not use any of the six paths, especially when she was trapped and finally decided to attempt to kill Naruto and Sasuke? Can you answer these questions without supporting my op? I'd be utterly amazed if you could.

Yes, Hamura has the byakugan, then again, we know little about the origins or properties of the byakugan, what's more Hamura and his ootsutsuki clan on the moon, and we won't until the film is released. For all we know, he may have unlocked a new doujutsu or possessed a higher form of the byakugan.
