Karin w/Rage Mode is actually very powerful, and the perfect counter to his Buddha. Its also importent to note that he did not use his insanely large elemental attacks, and that he was pressuring the remaining SA (Including characters like Edo Hiruzen, Ei, Ōnoki etc....)

No idea. I find it a bit hard to gauge his power given how randomly he appeared and seemingly so much stronger. He also benefited a lot from the Alliance's exhaustion.
I'd say he's around Mid-High kage level based on the AoE and variety of his attacks and how carefully Orochimaru approached him.
