Doing a manga at some point and i wanted to know what you thought of my plot. these are the two that i liked the most

Sinner

Story: The world is bathed in sin. Anyone who commits major sins are branded with a red stigma from god. This sign can not be removed and will never go away. These people are called sinners. Yet through this sign sinners, who are now directly connected to god, have found a way to draw in some of his power. Sinners even have a rare chance, with gods energy, to create a specialized personal weapon called an arc. Anytime a sinner uses their powers their stigma glows bright red and can be seen through clothing. Society hates and fear sinners and have banded together to keep them away from civilians or even kill them. This hatred has eventually lead to some people making a pact with god that will allow them to use his powers to hunt down other sinners. Any crimes committed against sinners are allowed in God’s eyes. Oddly enough sinners on rare occasions will turn into monsters.

Main Character: Shiro Takahashi is the child of two sinners. Child of sinners, while not branded a sinner, can still access god’s energy. Through mysterious ways, Shiro became a sinner at a young age through events that took place in his village. Years latter Shiro ran away with his little brother, makoto, and is looking for the rumored Temple of Lost Sinner. A place which is stated to have the ability to absolve one’s sin and remove their stigma.

Main Villain: The main villain goes crazy and through traumatic events becomes a sinner. Now believing that humans are the disgraceful race, he wants to create more sinners which he believe is the superior race. He wants to throw the world into chaos, thus breeding more hatred and crime, and then form a country with the newly created hatred.

I recently came up with this one

(copy and pasted)

well there are more characters that can stand up to him(6 or 7 others).

a quick summary is that. god created everything yatayatayata. he then created this beings(made of his energy but no where equal to him) to govern the world because life couldnt handle gods presence (he rests in another dimension). these beings are called lords and have a powerful soul. these lords then (years later) went to war over conflicting opinions. they then turned humans into monsters (giving them a stronger soul) to fight for them. no progress is made and lords go into a slumber.

NOW! the humans who were given powers have there own unique energy (lesser form of gods energy). they get stronger by eating other "tainted" human souls. if a they go to long without eating a soul they turn into a real beast and lose their conscience. this beast has essentially the same soul and its soul can be eaten by the "tainted" humans. (they both also use the same energy). a human can only go back if he eats a pure untainted human soul but a monster can never revert back. a monster can also eat any of the 3 souls to get stronger. stronger the souls the stronger you get. a tainted human, and a monster can though, eat a lords soul and gains its power. the main character (through depressing events) finds a lords soul and because this lords goal was to save humanity he lets the main character eat him, but he cant use his powers yet because his body isnt strong enough and it will kill him.

there are about maybe 8 lords with unique abilities. also each tainted human and monster are ranked by how high their energy is (which raises by eating soul), E-S. gods energy trumps regular energy so gods energy ranked a E will be greater then regular energy ranked at E.

im not sure if i answered your question and i dont want this to be a page long post lol. unless you wanted more details. if you ever played dark souls it should make some sense(the actual plot of the main character is different though). the story is really centered around what each lord wants to do and how it will effect the world.

also, i forgot that if anyone other thena pure human is killed, and there soul is not eaten then they come back to life. if a tainted human comes back then he comes back closer to transforming. if a pure human is "tainted" they can come back as a tainted human.

I mostly know everything that will happen in this story

if you'd like to know more i'll be happy to explain

It's got potential.

The only thing that doesn't add up is the Sinners being able to draw upon some of the God's energy because a God after all, would not let a mistake like that happen.

It's not bad, you have a good starting point I think. I'm not gonna give you ideas though.

Easily solvable. The sign that the sinners are branded with are done by God, God actively used his Holy Force to place the signs, meaning that the signs would contain diluted remnants of God's Holy Force. They draw on this, similar to Curse Marks. These Sinners would basically be somewhere in between angel and human.

God then created these beings(made of his energy but no where equal to him) to govern the world (Perhaps combat the sinners?) because life couldn't handle God's presence (he rests in another dimension). These beings are called (Holy) Lords and have a powerful soul. These lords then (years later) went to war over conflicting opinions (Perhaps also it had to do with the way to deal with the sinners and they got a bit power hungry or something?) they then turned (some) humans into monsters (giving them a stronger soul) to fight for them (and also eliminate the sinners). No progress is made and lords go into a slumber.

I added some things into the second quote In brackets you could maybe use to mix both plots together? Idk, I just thought you could combine the ideas. If not, I would stick to the first one, but you should keep that power level ranking system imo. Maybe even have a level beyond S rank, say X, or something. Idk. Seems interesting though, bro.

On another note reading one of the comments it is correct it doesn't make sense for sinners being able to draw on god's energy. Perhaps have Lucifer, or Demons or something make contracts with the branded sinners? Or somethings idk.

Never thought of that. Idk I wouldn't call it a mistake, more like an indirect connection. But I see your point
