In your opinion, what makes a man? As we all know you can be a man physically but still be immature, be a boy on the inside etc. You can still be weak and feel the need to throw tantrums when you don't get your way or you're not dominant enough or you're just a wimp. So what is defined as true masculinity? Gather all the men here, let's talk through this.

Real man is not born to be friended with woman he supposed to love them! Real man forgives a woman for her lies, and lastly real man is facing the obstacles, no matter how big it is and protecting what he loves! Watch one piece men watch the real man sanji

*** obviously.
Having lots of *** or having a loyal woman is a good portion of being a man but I don't think it's the end all be all. There are lots of people who have *** but have no idea what it means to be a man, having a purpose etc, if you think the *** makes you then you'll never be complete.

That's not what i meant though. You are a man because you are born a man not a woman, it's not a matter of masculinity what defines you a man.

What my father taught me is he needs to be willing to look pass himself and consider the others around him. Not chase after the temporary but look for steady ground to build his life on and be willing to share it. He has to be strong enough to support his family and still at times be wise enough to ask for help when need be. To know that he can't do life on his own and that he doesn't need to. To be willing to prove and sacrifice for his family. Well that's what I've gotten from watching my father all these years

Im sick of people trying to say what a "real man" does.

If there were ad campaigns trying to tell young women how to act to be accepted, there would be vocal outrage.

I find it funny how women are always trying to tell men what a "real man does"; yet if men try to depict what they think a "real woman does"(cook, clean, height, weight, etc) then its's misogyinst.

double standard though

I'm a man saying this, not a woman, who cares how women are like? This thread is for men.

I don't give a **** what you are. trying to define what makes someone a man besides being 18 and having a penis is un-necessary
It's not and if you think so you're ignorant, I can already tell you're not fully developed as a man based on how you felt the need to point fingers in your last post and complain about women like an immature boy, go cry somewhere else.

What defines what a man is huh? it's so many different perspectives on something like this and when it comes to women as well. I have no real answer and you probably won't as well. I suppose my definition of a man is a male being able to hold their own and taking care of those who rely on them for protection or support or etc.

can you though? You felt the need to make a personal attack because I called into question the validity of your thread.

If you want me to play this game, I will though

Do I have a full time job- check(work 48 hours a week minimum)
do I pay my own bills- check
Am I legal drinking age- check

Im not some fat internet virgin, who just hates women. I hate double standards such as this thread.

I can clearly define what makes a real man because the media has "taught me" what is expected of a real man.

What is expected of a real woman?

Back up your point instead of labeling me "ignorant".

You didn't question the thread, you started to cry about how unfair it is that women never have any standards they need to live up to and how hard it is for you etc. I'm not saying men are sheep that need to follow what society thinks of them but this is a discussion of different aspects and traits of what a man is. I believe it goes deeper than simply being over 18 and having a penis. If you don't want to discuss then you're free to leave but don't pollute this thread with your insecurities.

You obviously do think men are sheep, heres how I know.

You have been taught that unless a man bottles up his troubles he isn't " fully developed as a man"

"I can already tell you're not fully developed as a man based on how you felt the need to point fingers in your last post and complain about women like an immature boy, go cry somewhere else"

Your actions contradict your words.

I didn't say women didn't have standards, society just doesn't define women by those standards as a man is

That's not true, just because I was trying to tell you not to complain about things that make you look pathetic doesn't mean I'm suggesting that men need to be emotionless robots. In my opinion if a man can't be honest about his feelings then he's a coward. Courage to express yourself is central to being a man but at the same time there needs to be a balance where you don't give away your power to others through pointing fingers, cry and complain which makes you weak which isn't manly either.
