How many years until it becomes irrelevant?

How many more years until the manga becomes irrelevant and the anime takes over as the "face" of NARUTO?


For those who don't know what I mean.. I mean this:

Lets take DB/Z for example.. the manga was written and so on. However, the major contribution to the following of DBZ is credited towards the anime. It was the anime that made people interested in DBZ. (In all honesty, the dbz manga itself is mediocre at best.. and isn't really that epic, while on the other hand Anime was EPIC.) So when people talk about "DBZ" now, its mostly referred to the cartoon/anime. I know alot of people who had no clue that Dragonballz even had a manga .


My opinion:

I myself am an anime guy, Naruto the anime got me to the series. And the manga ending didn't really have that big of an impact on me, because well i follow the anime mostly. The reason i read the manga was to well spoil myself of the storyline =D. Other than that, all the fights and etc i'm just waiting for them to happen in the anime. In my opinion in about 3-4 years NARUTO the anime will be mainstream and will be the "poster" for the franchise of NARUTO (which includes games/manga/anime).

ps: I prefer discussing with using the anime over the manga, due to more information available, so can't wait for it to take over!

But i like anime more than manga flr the summed up explanation od like a whole volume of manga in like half an episode XD

Anime's gonna top the Manga by the Sasuke vs Madara fight. Hopefully the animation looks cool af like the Obito vs Kakashi fights

ahahahah I went through the samething on this site. Bro its funny, that if you use the anime in debates , most of the pointless debates on the site get put down. Because i know alot of people who deny using the anime, just because they get proven wrong XD.

Naruto manga will never be irrelevant, since Part 2 has bad animation.

Part 2 sub might have bad animation near the war.. but overall it has had pretty good animation. But i'm sure they will be redoing some of the episodes and etc, and modifying them for the T.V.


I mean i'd rather watch pain arc in the anime, than read it in the manga.

To be honest I don't think I'm going to read the Naruto manga again(besides the mini series) I'd rather see things animated than looking at pictures. However for animes that have light novels, I will have no problem going back to the light novel, because LN Anime's tend to skip many things, change things up, and leave out a lot of detail and in most scenario's even if the anime is really good, the light novel will be even better.

I never even read the DBZ manga. It came out in like what, 1984? When the manga ended I'm pretty sure the anime was the popular thing compared to the manga.

Naruto is over. The anime will soon take over.

I'd have to watch dbz again, and then pay attention to any f*ck ups in the animation movement scenes. And then pause it within the action and then take a stillshot of it.

Naruto the anime surpassed DBZ long time ago. o-o

The Naruto manga is way better than the anime.The reason why DBZ anime is more popular than the anime is because practically everyone saw that on TV over the years growing up.Naruto's not like that.

nope, didn't notice them until you took the images. But then again, i don't really nitpick on action movements.

O_O, hmmm.... the war in the anime actually feels like a war tho bro.
