Lol I was actually thinking of typing this in my post as well. I compleltly agree with you. Sakura's name is from a flower in Japan. Her learning flower genjutsue would suit her a lot more. Than turning her into a medical boxer. Considering how she can pull a hard punch. Her humorous punches against Naruto were very unrealistic.

Hinata has all the tools to be a great heroine. The figure, clan background, powers etc. Are simply the perfect ingrediants for a main heroine. Luckily for her, all is not lost. She has a movie to show us what she can do.

I don't support NaruSaku to be honest but to Say Hinata has the tools to be a Heroine is a Joke.

I don't support NaruSaku to be honest but to Say Hinata has the tools to be a Heroine is a Joke.
Power The fact That she is equal to Part 1 Neji is Disgraceful and she has one Panel power-Ups.
Her background was the fact she was written to be a disgrace and weaker than her sister.
She is a One-Dimensional character who hardly get's panel Time.
She is a Mary Sue and get's more Credit than deserved.

Hinata never got much panel time so you will think that way. Her one dimensional character could have easily been changed to multliple dimensional had she been given enough exposer.

Sakura needed parrallels to make her character. Hinata did not. She has a clan background. A decent eye doujutsue. Her powers would be more uniquer since we know what the Hyuuga are capable of. Saying shes weak does not make your point any better. Because most characters start out as weak before they get stronger. She has has a decent back story a person could care for.

So no, she does not get more credit than she deserves. She has earned it by trying our fail main heroin Sakura. Hell she is even getting a movie over her. For a one dimensional character thats not bad.

She has what it takes to be an awsum heroine with next to nothing she have shown.

Honestly i do not get where most of the base gets their literary knowledge from when they say she is actually a decently written character. And i don't get how having less paneltime means an excuse for a poor character. Like...she is not good because she is not shown but she wouod be much more based on what exactly? She becomes a better main character than Sakura just because she is from a clan? Do people here even read zlich other than manga ? How is being from a clan a characterization trait.? And they say it is because cuz there is nothing much else to say about her other than her badly written love for Naruto.

OT: Idk how whole character ruined based on one chapter. I do not like Sakura, never did. But if you did not see this was what she was anyway that means you ignored the portions of her character which you did not want to admit.

Forget part 1, in kage summit (few weeks before war and Final fight) she failed to kill Sasuke because she loved him. In war image of Sasuke popped in her thoughts when a ninja gave her love letter. Kakashi said she loved Sasuke no matter what right before final fight. I did not expect much from her regarding to Sasuke.

I have never seen anyone on the base say she is a decent written character? She is a side character what do you expect? She did not get much exposer to make a impact.
