My given f*cks count would probably be somewhere in the negatives, which means i'm actually annoyed any pairings happened at all. I just wanted to see more meaningful stuff than that. Kishimoto should have just given the finger to the pairing fanatics and never drawn 700, or at least replaced it with something that matters. The mini-series should have focused on pairings, since it's the weakest and most undeveloped point of Naruto, it didn't deserve a place in the main series.

I also can't stop picturing some massive orgy happening on the same day, since it's like the Oprah show - everyone gets a wife, everyone gets a kid. The most hilarious part about all this is that the shippers think their parings are actually developed...

They're a result of pairings. You can dance around the answer as much as you like, but it doesn't change #mangafacts. You already admitted that you don't care about pairings, and your first post states that pairings are irrelevant. There wouldn't be a future generation without the pairings. I bet you were one of those guys who thought The Last wouldn't be canon because it's about love, huh? Funny that Kishimoto would dedicate an entire movie to something so irrelevant.

Of course, they're irrelevant. At least, they're irrelevant to the point of not having enough worth to rage about. Nah, I take everything Kishimoto throws at me. I never questioned his decisions, it's his story, after all. The gist of this topic is that the romance in this type of story is irrelevant enough that Kishimoto never questioned it through Naruto's and Sasuke's perceptions, which is why it's not really worth having a prolonged debate about it. We only saw it through their female counterparts and it was predictable who will end up with whom. All the more reason for the irrelevance of raging and irrelevance in general. I guess Kishimoto wants to make up for it in The Last.

Haha, I chuckled, nice post. I agree that it shouldn't have been shown because, well, now people rage about it, I guess. Since he announced the part 3, I'd also have no problem if he introduced the pairings couple of months later. The anticipation for the part 3 would definitely be a lot higher.

I think they wasted space - there were a lot more interesting things that could have been included in Chapter 700 or as the subject of The Last.

Shipping RUINED this manga. Kishimoto admitted he CAN'T write romance and then ends his manga with a chapter full of BS shipping. How utterly stupid. The shipping ruined the manga, because it was poorly written and undeveloped. It seems like another way to make money. Way too many unexplained things for a TRUE fan of Naruto to be satisfied with. And the shippers won't shut the hell up, yelling that anyone that doesn't like the ending is salty. I DON'T SHIP, and I hated that nonsense ending. Real fans aren't 'salty' they are disappointed.

Clearly the base had feelings on pairings even if they never admitted it Lol
