[Discussion] Does anyone actual care about the upcoming new mini series?

I personally dont! Sasukes and naruto's kids. how lame amd boring. What would it be about anyway? maybe it will be a slice of life manga?(that screams boring!!!) Naruto should be over. Shonen jump should be ashamed of themselves!! milking such a great series beyond it's capacity. If kishimoto were to write a REAL part 3 or a naruto spin off series that would maybe make some sense.

But a story about their children? What is the supposued to be? Dragon ball GT 2.0?

As much as I hate to agree with you, I somewhat do lols. I rethought it, and I'm no longer certain I'll be watching it lols. The movie I definitely will because Kishimoto is writing it and it will explore the moon people, hyuuga and byakugan like I've always wanted, not to mention possibly Hamura, the Uzumakis or even Orochimaru. Other than that, the series is wrapped up for me. The mini series isn't written by Kishimoto and I don't see any direction it could go that I'd like so yes it does somewhat come off as being another GT. We'll wait and see I guess.

Not particularly, but I hope it shows what happened to the characters we didn't see in the epilogue. I'm especially hoping to see some closure regarding Taka, even if it's just a minor cameo.

Nope. 699 was a beautiful ending, though a bit rushed to cover time. 700 was fan service. Kishi could have done a flash forward showing Naruto being sworn in as Hokage and ended it. Now we're getting part three centered around the kids? This is worse the DBGT. They're just milking this. If they took the DBZ approach with cannon movies every two-three years I'd be cool, because we got a lot of space between the time skip.

I like the idea of it pretty much moving forward with the new generation and to see what possible new powers or abilities everyone has. So yea kinda do care to see it ..i still think it's not a mini series they jus wanna test it out to see how the fans receive it

What if the whole point of naruto and sasuke was to get to this point, and so the kids are where the real plot line starts. The first 699 episodes are back story.
