- Mei comes close and she gets one shotted via Gentle fist.

- Any fire-style just gets blown away with ease or blow body deals with it at the very worst.

- Katusuyu has a time limit as a summon as well so she can't last for the entire fight.

Thanks for posting the scan, you can clearly see the spikes aren't exactly human sized as you claim and some of them are pretty small when the others are somewhat larger. They aren't the same in size.
I still don't see your point though, Choji- who is himself Bijuu sized when transformed- was able to easily hold one of the tails. With his hands.

Flawed. You can't compare Susanoo's or the Buddha's punch with that air palm. Obviously, the palm had by far more impact. Depended by the angle, Susanoo and the Buddha just punched her away, the air palm however send Juubi's huge tail 50 meters flying, same time creating a crater under Hiashi's feet. Fact is, Mei is a physically weak person. And the air palm sends her flying a few hundred meters.

I don't know what you consider the air palm to be, but how can she react to an invisible shockwave that instantly hits your body by using Ninjutsu? I really don't get your logic.

It may be invisible, but it isn't instant and it isn't impossible to counter. If it would be instant, Hiashi would be above the likes of Itachi, which is ridiculous at best. When using it, Hiashi has to hold up his hand at first. So Mei will have plenty of time to create a layer of suitons between herself and Hiashi.
