My boyfriend and I was talking about this. NaruHina fans don't get offended. This was just me and my boyfriend theory.I don't think Kishimoto though that deep into it. I don't really think any of the pairings were developed well.

I think Naruto realized that Hinata was always the one for him. Sakura was his childhood crush. I don't know any people who chased their childhood crush all the way up until adulthood. Hinata has always had more in common with Naruto than Sakura did. I don't think that she's a rebound at all. Views on attraction are always prone to change, especially with maturity.

it probally will for naruto and hinata but it won't even touch sasuke and sakura,i'm hoping that we will get something about sasuke during this periode he's taking those trips and shortly after he returned village and after the events of the last

When do you think Naruto gave up on Sakura? He mentioned dates to her,admitted to Sai that he liked her,said to Minato that she was his girlfriend etc,and said none of those things for Hinata.

my Friend and I came up with that same theory at work. SHe said that unless Sakura outright said to Naruto It aint happening it is not like him to just give up. I prefer NS, but I hope Kishi doesn't make Hinata a rebound..cause that would be terrible. Make the ending more convoluted

I mean the theme of Naruto is hard work and perseverance and the like.

While Naruto strives to be Hokage, as that is his "dream", Hinata strives for Naruto's affection, which is her "dream". Sakura strives for Sasuke's affection, which is her "dream". The dream isn't entirely about Naruto, and to look at it somewhat distinctly, I guess that is the beauty of Naruto in a way. Naruto "won" but didn't totally "win".

If this was done more beautifully, then it would actually be beautiful. But yes I agree with you, it was sorta rushed and not really linked to anything. All the times Naruto and Hinata have really interacted can be counted on two hands.
