[Question] Is Fairy Tail worth getting into?

Can anyone tell me what type of storyline it is?

One Piece is my favorite manga btw. Does it have any similar themes or fighting styles?

Also, rate Fairy Tale 1-10 in your opinion.

It's EXACTLY like One Piece in terms of story structure. Fairy Tail doesn't have as much depth as One Piece, which is saying something..

Fairy Tail can be cool, but it's just something to frequently read and look at. There's nothing incredibly provoking about it. Lots of fighting and fun.

I say 6/10

Gray, the stripping Ice Mage, Lucy, the fanservice full Celestial Wizard, Erza, S-Class and Scary armor and weapons magic specialist. Flying cats and Dragon Slaying magic. If that is your cup of tea, then read Fairy Tail. Personally, I can't get enough of the series. The art is pretty much the same as One Piece at first, but then it really develops a new style and the character designs improve. Beware, there is a lot of fanservice, though I just ignore it, and the best part is the sheer chaos of the series, if you pick it up, you will see exactly what I mean by chaos.

Oh, and if you like Luffy, then you will like Natsu as well. He smile is so cute and sweet, when he doesn't look like he's gonna roast an opponent (that smile is rather freaky).

My opinion, others may not agree, and they have the right to do so.

I personally dislike it and people who even try to compare it to One piece don't know anything.

There are to many asspulls and frendship mombo jumbo.

It's one of my favorites.

Pros:

1. Good story
2. Good action
3. Very Humorous
4. Great Characters
5. A lot of emotional moments
6. Strong family and friendship bonds

Cons:
1. Too much fan service at times and at unnecessary moments(not that big of a deal for me, I usually don't care).
2. Importance of friendship can be over used a lot.
3. Not a lot of deaths(not a big deal to me, but I guess all about personal preference).

It's iight at the moment but overall it hovers at around a 6/10 for me. FT contains the most disappointed arc that i've ever read in my life tho so there's that. FT is my least favorite of all the ongoing shounen manga I read and these manga include one piece, toriko, hunter x hunter, akame ga kill (it's shounen right? Lol) bleach, naruto, 7 deadly sins (very similar to FT), and magi.


But heeey, don't knock it until you try it

Fairy Tail is something great to relax. It has amazing characters, humour and battles. But don't expect some deep storyline

-The Fights are usually good but the problem is there is a lot of Friendship Powerups and stuff like that
-Fanservice is apparently excessive but I've seen worse
-Plot is good, its really interesting and especially during the current Arc
-Characters are original and really great.

At the moment they are about equal for me but that's because this is the best FT arc imo...Overall I enjoy bleach more
