Well first, is it a spin off series or is it part 3? Many people has been saying it's a spin off series and others are saying it's a part 3.

Is the spin off series/part 3 made by Kishi?

How long will the spin off series last? A year? or 2-3 years?

No kishi is doing the mini series, the blood prison guy is doing the novels starting with kakashi

It's meant to be a short. I picture a short between 20 and 50 chapters, of course it might be prolonged... but, I'd take a look at how long that Rock Lee spin off lasted and put it at around that.
