In Japan, even if you marry your first cousin (marriage between cousins in general), it's not considered incest.

She's not inbred in the manner that we don't even know how closely related Mikoto and Fugaku were. The Uchiha clan was so large (it's been around for years, since before the foundation of Konoha) that people within the clan would be barely related anyway, since years of generations have past. Even Itachi was supposed to have an arranged marriage with some Uchiha girl so that the clan could continue and his child would have been the heir after him.

For all the people saying females were shown with sharingan... only one was and it was in a panel where "Madara" was describing the Uchiha clan's conflict with the Senju. She was towards the bottom of the panel.

no where in the manga even suggest this is the case. though this is true as far as japanese culture, its not like the same goes for NV. there is nothing to suggest they were in the same clan before they were married. all we have are the facts. theres really no way of knowing if your statement is true or if mine is true, but the manga suggests they were not related in anyway other than marriage

Where are you getting any info on her not being an Uchiha by birth? The Uchiha clan was very inbred, as are most clans. Unless you can prove that she was an outsider, your comparison is not logical. There is no proof of her either having or not having the sharigan. All we know is that she was a jonin who quit to raise her children. We don't know if she was born a Uchiha (most likely) or married into it (doubtful since she looks like an Uchiha and her husband was the clan head)

im gettin it from the manga. what about you? where in the manga does it say the clan was interbred? scan? if you dont have one then your speculating. just like how i am speculating she married into the family because there is no manga scan saying uchiha interbred. so unless you can prove she was not an outsider than your comment is just as logical as mine.


and besides. what uchiha jonin does not have a sharingan.

this exactly. as far as her relation to the clan the only thing proven is marriage. so this is the best thing to go off of. if you say they interbred then you are speculating with info not even found in the manga. im atleast speculating with info we know to be true.

In this case filler does not matter. In canon, no Uchiha female has had a prominent role for the issue to even matter. The fact that females were shown with the Sharingan says enough & if you think Kishi would give Sasuke a girl, only for her to not be able to awaken the Sharingan, then no offense, but you're stupid.

Although that was extremely early on in the Manga. So it seems that what Sasuke says there is BS as pretty much ALL Uchihas introduced in the manga seem to have the sharingan. Not "a select few".
I could be wrong, idk.

That put absolutely nothing to rest, considering that manga-wise, the majority of the Uchiha clan didn't have sharingan. It was considered abnormal for Itachi to have mastered 3-tomoe by the time he was 8. Lol

the female used Izanami against the male so yes, they can awake the sharingan.
