Its a really confusing series in the early to mid hundreds...but its some what interesting, not even close as Naruto imo.

I guess because of its slow start up, and Naruto's fast start up since first episodes/mangas.

Anyways, I want to continue watching the anime, but I can't stand english subbed...don't ask why, idk. It just drains the fun and instant connection when I hear the english words being said.

Its just a short pet peeve, and I only hate OP subbed, I can deal with every other subbed anime.

Reading the manga is always an Option and the most preferable choice, When The anime isn't working for someone.
And as Sad as Naruto Got me On the bummed side for it's ending, One piece Still topples it in terms of story telling/Writing.

Hmm... I do think you can't fully accept One Piece style of story. Kinda irony with your username though.
Do you mean subbed anime or dubbed anime? Sub is Japanese audio + Eng (or any other language) subtitle. While Dub is English (or any other language) + no subtitle.

If you watch OP anime with dubbed version, don't watch 4kids production if you don't wanna lose interest from it. Funimation production is okay anyhow. I don't watch dubbed one, so i really recommend you to try subbed version instead. The emotions are real, even in battle modes.

However, you're gonna miss various epic and important moments if you wanna drop it now. Unless, if all you care about is fighting, then One Piece perhaps a less option to be chosen for you.

The series is not solely on straight up brawl, it covers everything from the smallest issue to the largest one, in One Piece way. That's why even my mom enjoys it, though she rarely like to watch any anime. That's why my 8 years old baby bro loves it (now he's 9), despite that he always prefer harsh fighting stories/games. Kids... Also, that's why most households in Japan have at least watch One Piece episode every week, alongside other home shows such as Chibi Maruko chan and Sazae san in top 10. That's why USJ creates a One Piece theme park every year since 2011 to date (there's one in 2014, i missed it ), due to its popularity.

Too bad since One Piece anime had been plastered with bad start off by 4kids, and any other which deem One Piece series as for kids only at the beginning so not many people outside Japan knows its true potential like right now. When we fans claim it's one of the best manga out there, people criticize as if they're an expert. All because of slow pace and low art quality.

Nvm. Forget it if you don't like it still, alright? Find other manga/anime that have full of fights, purely full of fights and adrenaline driven through characters versus. It's more exciting, i guess...
