Hamura !

According to Naruto wiki ... Hamura and the rest of his clan departed to the moon, in order to guard his mother's sealed remains, leaving Hagoromo on earth to spread his teachings. Is this true ? Are there any manga facts to support this ?
If this is true then there might be a chance of Hamura's appearance in "The Last" !

It looks like the the Shell of Hamura in the same way that the Gedo Mazo is probably the Shell of Hagoromo (beard / eyes). The image has Hamura's smaller horns as well.
