Fuji TV updated its broadcast schedule this week for the Mandō Kobayashi manga television program. The schedule reveals that Naruto manga creator Masashi Kishimoto will appear as a special guest on the 13th episode that will premiere on December 13. The announcement also confirms that Kishimoto's ninja manga has 200 million copies in print worldwide.

As of September, the series had more than 200 million copies in print, including 130 million in Japan and 75 million in 35 countries worldwide.

Having more than a half of the amount of Japanese volumes printed around the world certainly speaks itself of how big of a world-wide success Naruto has been. Kishimoto should be proud.

Different sources show different numbers. Oricon should be posting the yearly sales of the manga soon. Naruto's overall sales should be above 140 million in Japan alone by now.

Even though the manga is done, that number will still climb.
DB after its manga ended to when its dubbed ended sold 100 million copies.

Of course Naruto's dub is no where near as popular as DBZ dubbed, but it will still climb.
The biggest question is, will it surpass DB and join the ranks of the other manga that did that.
