Why the hell are you reading Naruto?

Looking at the threads and comments from all over the internet, I see people complaining, fawning, being neutral about various things in the manga..... and of course salty pairing fans, and that crazy petition. They complain and everyone whines at them about it and say "why read Naruto for the romance" me, I was a salty shipper now I'm just curious at what will come next, will Kishimoto elaborate on Naruto's role as Hokage, will he be there more for his son, etc. My point is why does everyone care so much about the reason someone reads the manga. It's like if two people are at a bar neither know each other but they both happen to be within ear-shot of one another, the first person just had a massive disappointment and is elaborating to damn much, and the other person as opposed to just ignoring them butts in and starts whining at them. This also cuts both ways to those who are salty be salty in private, it just makes you, who you ship or whatever group you belong to look terrible Everyone has a right to read a manga for whatever purpose they want, bit it romance, action, plot or it smells good. To all the people who post on salt threads saying "I hate people saying sh*t like this" if you don't like the thread then don't post. It only adds fuel to the fire of those who still have salt on so this is more for your benefit then anyone else. To the salty, whatever made you that way, it sucks but it happens nothing will change that, post were you are heard not were trolls and whiners can hear you.


Now that the public service announcement is out of the way. I started reading Naruto because I identified with the character and the premise seemed interesting, i was considering quitting around the Madara arc but I figured I had read this long might as well finish.

Most people aren't complaining about pairings though. The majority of the fandom outside NB is displeased since many of the characters were retconned, just so a part 3 could happen with the kids.

I started it since it interested me as a kid (I was eight or nine when I stated reading it Lol ) and I wanted to see how one of my favorite characters and some characters I was fond of ended up.

That's why I read it. But, no one is reading it since it's over. Lol Kishi is done with it.

No I'm trying to get people's head out of their asses but it seems I can't do that, even before posting I knew the opening was me bit*hing. So its an acknowledged hypocritical attempt to try to restore some peace. Anyway you know what they say the road to hell is paved with good intentions.

And as for people trying to "defend" Kishimoto, I think some of them take it personally, they think because they like something and someone else calls it terrible its a slight on their character.

I got into it because of Deidara, kept reading because of Fu and I read the rest of the manga as a side effect. I generally liked it though.

I just happen to not care about any of the "hot" topics people usually complain and argue about.
