The kind of shock you were expecting can be felt only if you disconnect your PC plug and put your finger in the socket.

The shocking end is Dragonor's latest theory.

The epilogue was one big dream. The hint is made here when Sasuke looks at that tree and becomes concerned/worried about something, the tree is symbolic for the shinju tree. Although Sasuke and the entire world for that matter, are trapped in infinite Tsukiyomi, deep within Sasuke's subconscious he is aware of this and is desperately trying to warn himself that all is not as perfect as it seems.
Naruto experiences something similar in his dream, there are a few warning signs. His troublemaking son, the jolly roger on the Hokage's statues, the crude writing on the Hokage's statues. Even though he's dreaming, these are signposts he has created via his subconscious to warn himself that this is a bad dream. Either that or Madara is manipulating his dream and is taunting him via Bolt.

Title.
Like seriously what we got was pretty much confirmed and there was no shocking
element in it. It was a happy ending typical of a shounen manga. So what the heck
was the shocking end? When it was first mentioned i thought that it would be the
reveal of toneri or the rabbit bijuu which will be resolved in the movie. But we got
nothing.
Was the mentioning of "the shocking end" just a way to keep the readers attached
to the manga till its end?
discuss.
So you got your shocker!
My job is done. :Lawliet:
i would be very happy if this happened![]()

And if you notice on this panel, Sasuke's walking towards the entrance to somewhere. The entrance is shrouded in a white light. This symbolizes that Sasuke is close to achieving enlightenment, that's he's beginning to realize that this is one big dream. Notice also that the vines are similar to the vines of the Shinju tree

Whoa! Let's take it slow and let me use my authority first before coming up with accusations. ^_^

I noticed and I wonder if it was a deliberate uncertainty left for users to take it the way as they will. One can see it as Sasuke still being haunted by the memories, alert of his own shadow even and being on guard by habit. Another one is the interpretation whether they were really able to break the genjutsu or not. Writer may or may not have meant the duplicity but I can see FF writers taking full benefit of it.
