He was the Legendary Swordsman of the Mist and had a very powerful Sword at that. He was powerful enough to even be considered to be an escort for the Mizukage and all he lacked was confidence which is what fuels his sword. He obviously has plenty of that now. Probably tapping Mai on the side every once in a while.

Anyways take a look at him Soloing BZ while Naruto falls on the floor and Naruto's Praise for the awesome-sauce that is Chojuro.
