[Discussion] can someone tell me what "the shocking end" was

Like seriously what we got was pretty much confirmed and there was no shocking
element in it. It was a happy ending typical of a shounen manga. So what the heck
was the shocking end? When it was first mentioned i thought that it would be the
reveal of toneri or the rabbit bijuu which will be resolved in the movie. But we got
nothing.

Was the mentioning of "the shocking end" just a way to keep the readers attached
to the manga till its end?

But their fight's conclusion was really a shocker.
How Sasuke was won over and their arms.

no it was not shocking. sasuke coming back was foreshadowed since the last 400 chapters. What would have been shocking would be if he left without any redemption
