The Last - the worst love story ever

I'm not complaining like most ppl in this forum. IMO the end was okay.
It was a bit rushed, but it had it's moments. One of the positive things were that there was no NaruHinaSasuSaku bullsh*t.

I'm not against love stories. If it's a good one. But the love story in Naruto is the worst developed story I ever saw. It's so lame that it's embarrassing.

And now obviously the whole movie is gonna be about that?

OP: I am thankful that there were none of those moments in the epilogue at all. I am not going to see how it will be retcon'd in the last, but good luck to anyone whom will. Lol I agree that the romance is incredibly poor, and those that say it's well developed are just lying to themselves. It's all one-sided and terribly done at that. Deadman Wonderland has better romantic development than Naruto and the plot is about getting revenge and the kids time in a ****ed up jail thing. Lol I saw an anime not long ago and it completely shat all over Naruto's non-existent romantic development in like an episode. Lol

I don't see how these scans, the amount of which collected barely equals one chapter (out of 700!), and half of them having nothing to do with romance, is developement at all.

OT: The epilogue is BS, the pairings are BS as well. All of them, actually, including those of fodders. Kishi should've not go into this realm at all, he sucks at romance, even Twilight is better than this.

Ever since Tobi's face revealing Kishimoto, when it comes to some intrigue, enigma or just something ambiguous, he simply makes it with the most obvious choice. Do you honestly like stories where you already have all the answers before you've formed a question?

Really now, I could tell that the obvious pairings are NaruHina and SasuSaku ever since like chapter 30.

I could tell that Tobi is Obito ever since the moment of his introduction.

Etc etc etc.

Naruto was never a love story, anyways 12 year olds shouldn't be dating in the first place. We saw that childhood crushes were in place which is normal. The manga had no place for love and you shouldn't have expected it so saying its the worst romance i history is probably correct but its also incorrect since it wasn't trying to be a ****ing love story. The Last is the only attempt at a romance type story Kishi is going to do, so wait til the movie to judge if these kids who are finally old enough and are in an era were Dating/relationships is possible, we can see how Kishi handles Naruto and Hinata's relationship.

First of all you are crying about romance in a SHOUNEN manga. Were you expecting some deep romance in a manga with a romance tag?

Second of all the pairings for most manga are easy to tell, even the romance ones. What makes the pairing beinging predictable bad anyway?

I agree. No matter what Kishi pulls out of his ass, the movie's still going to be trash. NaruSaku always had more development, regardless. Pulling NaruHina out of his ass just to cater to the NaruHina shippers doesn't change the fact that it's still a poorly developed, asspull ship.
