He did that because he was Sasuke's best friend and a true friend. It still doesnt change the fact that he had to sacrifice a lot for it

When one door closes another opens. If Naruto accepted it, so should you.

I never thought of that parallel. During his interviews, he does talk like he sees himself as Naruto.
After all of this, I don't think Boruto will want to become Hokage. I mean, the post of hokage is why his dad doesn't pay attention to him.

Here read these x3. They'll explain why. The second one is with Kishi's interview.

Also, a neglectful father would just leave his son alone and go to the meeting.

Kishimoto is not writing Part 3 so its possible its not canon

Also lets be realistic there were much better father son scenes which could have been done there. After all this is supposed to be a happily every after ending

Well rather Kishi writes it or not. Its still happening. I will read it because its Naruto.

I saw nothing wrong with this scene. I actually enjoyed it. It reminded me of how Naruto was in the past. Also how Naruto matured as a person. We will possibly get a better scene in the movie anyways.

Look that was just one panel. I don't see whats the big deal about it? I mean there are a lot of things that could have been done logically. But they just didn't, because the author himself never wanted to. We will get better understanding of there life style in part 3.
700 was an epilogue,not a prologue to a spinoff.

I wonder what Sarada's and Bolt's goals would be. Surpassing their parents? Getting more attention from their fathers?

Apparently from what I read the fandom is divided on that scene. It should not have been there in an epilogue because epilogues should show everyone being happy and at their best. The epilogue is the real conclusion to the manga

Part 3 is not on the same level as Part 1 and Part 2 as has been confirmed

Kishi basically drew that scene based on his own children who he had to sacrifice for us.

The way the chapter focused on pairings with a possible romance between Salada and Borito it was obvious it was just an advertisement for Part 3

I don't think holding up the meeting with the kages to check up on his son is considered neglecting.

Dude the only thing these two darling kids share in common. Is the neglection from there fathers. If that goes away, how will they marry one day?

We've seen them in one chapter and you guys have already started shipping them? This manga isn't only about shipping.
I mean seriously, I hope the spinoff focuses on all the kids. I want to see new generation of Ino Shika Cho. A worried, pale male Ino. A feisty smart Shika and a sassy Cho

The spineoff is based on these kids is it not? Therefore I expect to see some family time.

I think a little of both. But I really don't see how they will surpass there fathers? Bolt may have that same cliche dream of becoming the hokage some day. To earn his dad's attention. Sarada's dream would be to avenge her uncle Itachi. She would train hard to kill her father.

Apparently from what I read the fandom is divided on that scene. It should not have been there in an epilogue because epilogues should show everyone being happy and at their best

Well fandom can think what it wants. I am thinking what I want.

I am sorry that I am not someone who thinks pairings don't matter. I just get intrigued in that part of there life, because I eventually want to see them evolve into a family. Any who, I want to see Lee's kid and the Asuma girl get stronger. The new Ino-Shika-Cho look like a team of clowns.

Actually, what I inferred from the scene was that Naruto didn't have enough time for his kids, whether he liked or not. My point is, he could send his shadow clones to do useless, unimportant stuff, like paperwork.
I mean, Bolt shouldn't really have to do stuff like this to get his attention. I honestly expected him to be a bit more like Konohamaru, you know, randomly attacking his dad to prove himself or something. Ot fits with what Kishi's done until now.

lol at Salada actually being useful in Part 3.If Kishimoto by some chance writes Part 3,20 bucks says she is just a pairing fodder for Borito

However since majority believe Part 3 is NOT written by Kishimoto then it may happen

Right be disrespectful to other leaders by sending a Shadow Clone Lol or let your child play with a clone instead of teaching him about responsibility.

It was kinda like the Harry Potter epilogue.James was behaving very mischievously and rudely with his brother except the only difference was that Harry was kind to him

Hmm... After thinking about it for few seconds. Naruto could make two clones if he wanted. One for his kid and one for Salada. The one for Salada could transform into Sasuke, so Salada does not feel neglected. The only downfall of this idea is. That it may lead Naruto to cheating with Sakura.
