As the title says. Does someone knows who will produce The Last ? I hope it won't bee Studio Pierrot as they made Naruto anime so shit .. I'm just scared to watch other thousands of animes which they had produced. Just the idea of making The Last by Studio Pierrot makes my skin crawl ...

It's not going to be crappily animated. It's a Naruto movie for goodness sake. All of them have had A+ animation. That's why they've always been so depressing, because we never actually get canon material looking quite as nice as random filler. But The Last is canon, so it's all good this time around.

Yes they are, they messed up the best fight of shippuden so far. If they mess up Gai vs Madara or Naruto vs Sasuke I will be pissed.

Since it's a movie it'll have high quality animation, they have the budget and time to do so.
Also... Most of that so-called "terrible" artwork are from freeze frames. If you pause it at the right time you can get some pretty odd looking images since they're in the middle of a movement.

Most of the hate towards the anime is just ignorance. Once you understand what really goes on (budget, difference between artwork and animation, etc.) you realize it's not that bad.

Well we don't need to cos what we care about as audience is the quality of animation that's why we are for don't you think ? So basically it's like this, they produce anime where audience don't give a f*** about budget and everything else as it's in their problem to produce and meet our expectation because we are here to rate certain episode as a final product.

They have a certain budget that they have to respect when making the episodes and as a result, some episodes look worse then others. Not to mention that they certainly have deadlines to keep and this may impact the otherall quality of the episodes in some cases.

Plus, I don't think that we should be complaining about it in the first place because most of us (not all) watch the episodes for free and thus, illegaly.

I had always wondered how they make money when they release anime for free ? LOL. ok. Yeah I agree that the budget, deadlines and all that is important. What I meant by audience is that "we" as audience don't care about the whole back-end process so that also include things as budget, deadlines and so on as what we only care about is quality of it when the final product is ready to be released. At least it's like it for most of the people.

But because of budget constraints the final product isn't as good. Almost all of us here watch anime illegally and they make no profit from it. You can't not pay for something and expect the final product to be good. Maybe if Naruto clamped down on illegal anime and forced everyone to pay to watch, quality would go up. They can't meet the audiences "expectations" because of budget constraints. If you don't have enough money to buy a hamburger, you can't just say "well I want the hamburger, f*** budget who cares about that I'm going to take it anyway". Now obviously they make a boatload of money off Naruto, I'm not debating that. But there's 400 episodes and it costs a lot of time and money to make each one. That's why only some episodes can be well animated and drawn.

See what I'm saying? The budget and final product are tied in together, you can't have a limited budget and produce a product as good as someone else with a large one. That's why movies are well animated and most episodes aren't.
So, if you're not happy with the product, support the anime so the product can be better.
