We see kakashi and gai chilling after kakashi's retirement.

However: gai kinda looks old. Are him and kakashi old? I mean: jiraiya was a BOSS in his 50's kakashi should only be in his 40's here. Kinda early to call it quits huh?

While i'm mentioning gai: do you think his leg injury happened just before that chapter?

Or is that from him shattering it kicking madara?

I think they're in their late 40s. The kids look like they're around 11 seeing as they're still academy students so that would make Kakashi what like 42-43? He and Guy can't be any older than 45. Dunno why they look so old, but Kakashi should still be able to fight and all that good stuff. I think they just officially retired as in no more assigned missions and stuff but they'll do shit on theor own, which Kakashi said he's going to do.

And Guy's leg is shattered from kicking Madara, it'll probably never heal.

Kakashi has been in the game for 40 Years, plus he needs a break; his father killing himself, whole teammates dying and his long lost friend who turned good sacrificing himself for him is mentally bad for someone not to include he Hokage duties after that. Pretty much Kakashi needs a break after this looking forward to his small spinoff chapters.

This is what bothered me the most about 700. They made then age to look like 20 years later, when it's been 10. Jiraiya was looking pretty badass at 50's.

And Hiruzen was too, at great condition before kicking the bucket vs Orochimaru. I don't know why Oonoki dropped the ball and looks so damn tired.
