It seems many of you missed the poll. Kishimoto had a poll put up on certain character pairings, and NaruHina won, as did SasuSaku. That's why the chapters don't make much sense. The people had spoken.

This is the exact reason I believe why Kishi never showed both NH and SS together in one panel as a family.Harry Potter did it.Dragonball did it.Many other shows I watched did it.The moments they had with their kids were also very emotional unlike here.Kishi did not because he was forced to do the pairings when he never wanted to.Its quite telling

Wouldn't you have to presume that Sakura was his goal before being able to make that argument? It seems like a pretty popular one. This is the first time I decided to ask whether it can even be backed up.
Literally, Naruto was with her when she said that Naruto meddling with her love life was upsetting to her third episode.
So ... are you saying that the lesson is to pursue your goals regardless of your friend's feelings? He schooled Obito in the wrongness of exactly that kind of ideology.

Now do not get me wrong, I completely agree with you on the ending being absolute garbage. The pairings make no sense and both chapters were overall rushed. Kishi needs to make up for this somehow. An alternate ending would do the trick! I think it could be pulled off too since a new author is taking over the Naruto franchise. At least from the sources that I have read anyway.
I tell you what he could do is simply provide an alternate ending for the manga, here's one:
Naruto ends up marrying and having children with Sakura instead of Hinata. Sasuke ends up marrying and having children with Karin instead of Sakura.
Ino ends up marrying and having children with Choji instead of Sai, Shikamaru and Temari are married and have a kid as already shown. Mei Terumi (Fifth Mizukage) gets married rather than remaining single.
Kids of the alternate ending pairings being shown. Sasuke and Karin's child or children both being shown with the Rinnegan. Naruto and Sakura's children having blond hair and green eyes and whiskers like Naruto at least one out of the two having a big forehead like Sakura.
More panels of Neji's funeral along with more references to Jiraiya, Minato, Kushina and Obito rather than no references at all like what we got. Showing the ceremonies of Kakashi and Naruto becoming the Sixth and Seventh Hokages.
Killer B being shown as the Raikage instead of Darui.
Orochimaru and Kabuto as well as a few other characters making a final appearance in the last two chapters instead of no appearance at all like what we got. (With the exception of IT being dispelled in 699 of course).
Oh and btw, Kishi is no longer participating in the Naruto franchise after The Last Naruto Movie! A new author will be taking over the Naruto franchise in spring of 2015 so an alternate ending could actually happen! Hopefully it will!

I call BS, provide a source for this and then I might believe that. Until then, what you just said is made up! Besides, even so, back when DBZ was still going, Akira didn't give a rats rear end about what the fans wanted on regards to pairings, he didn't cave in. He simply went with what his heart told him and we got Goku x Chi Chi and Vegeta x Bulma. That said, Kishi's NaruHina and SasuSaku's asspull is completely inexcusable and should be rectified via alt ending. Kinda like how Toriyama is doing with his series right now with the new movies, rectifying the ending of his manga.

Dude it's done,stop whining and accept that NaruHina and SasuSaku have become canon because nobody is changing them.
He's just mad because his ship sank XD. That's what they get for being so arrogant, I bet they didn't even read all of his interviews. One specific one said that Sakura will never let go of her love for Sasuke. There's the big hint for which pairing is canon xD.
No, what's fanfic or fanservice is the final garbage two chapters of the Naruto manga. Rushed and asspull central. How anyone can be satisfied with the final two chapters is beyond my comprehension. I guess it's just the fans that aren't logical when it comes to storytelling, especially with romance that are the ones satisfied with the horrific ending. Oh well.

I'm not mad, but I am disappointed! Oh well, Naruto Part 3 is basically going to be a second GT so if you guys want me to stop "whining" and accept that NaruHina and SasuSaku have become cannon, then by all means, enjoy the final edition to the Naruto manga I.E. Part 3 which will be just as bad as Dragon Ball GT. And when you all are b*tching about how bad Part 3 is after it is over, I will say I told you so and you will wish you all had an alternate ending. Same thing happened with Madara and Kaguya. People were hyped about Kaguya and they got it and then regretted it a few months afterwards and wished that Madara would have been the final villain.
