Wow, after 700 chapters it's finally over. I almost can't believe it (haha, believe it...)

I KNEW IT WOULD BE NARUHINA & SASUSAKU SINCE THE FIRST NARUTO!!! Damn I had to get that outta my system DATTEBAYO!

As for the chapters...

699 - We actually got a lot more insight from Sasuke! Nice! It's good to see Sasuke actually having an opinion for once! As for actually settling things with Naruto I thought it might be the fight over the 7th Hokage seat, but turns out that wasn't the case. It's funny how things turned out to be like the Konoha Village elders said awhile back, that Konoha always functioned best with one person in the light (Sarutobi or in this case Naruto) and another in the dark (Danzo or possibly Sasuke in this case). & WOW Sasuke apologized to Sakura? Go figure it almost had to be the end of the world for that to happen.

700 - WOW WE GET TO SEE THEIR KIDS? ARE YOU KIDDING ME? haha... all puns aside mini Hinata has wiskers! Yay! But I can't even tell who half the kids in the classroom belong t- SHIKAMRU WITH TEMARI? YESSSS & dayumn Naruto you look sooooooo messsed up older. I had expected a longer haircut and a different attire. Meh, as long as he has the cape I'm happy. Also I like how the Kishimoto did a hybrid wrap up where he had everyone mentioning/making references at the main character but and showed him later, yet not at the end as he was still present for around half the chapter- WHAT WE GET TO SEE SASUKE & SAKURA'S KID TOO? ARE YOU KIDDING ME?!? >.> Never thought it would be a girl but if there's one way to draw their child Kishimoto nailed it.

Overall the ending felt slightly rushed, but when your series has had as many fillers as the Naruto anime does I really can't blame Kishimoto. Plus having it all as a double chapter ending in color and an amazing climax for the whole series I really can't complain (or else I'd be a troll). And 700 chapters is like, what? Half my life? I think the guy deserves a break *Eiichiro Oda laughing in the background*

Thanks so much to Masashi Kishimoto for bringing this incredible series to life! I'm looking forward to any new Naruto installments. 5/5 for the chapters and series.

My thoughts on the 2 final chapters.

I think this was an amazing end to the manga - that was my gateway to the manga world.

Great outcome for everyone.

Making the statues cross fingers like that was really symbolic and creative.
Sasuke has redeemed himself in my eyes. His monologue was appropriate. How he communicated with Sakura was very similar to how Itachi use to communicate with him. We can see his change.

There weren't a lot of surprises for me in relation to who got coupled - I would've never predicted Sai and Ino though
Tenten and Lee - nice

Akamarau is so old!

Is it just me or does Gyuki (Hachibi) looks a bit older? - lol.
No offsprings for Bee or Gaara, huh?

I can't believe Oonoki is still alive - old geezer!
Tsunade doesn't even look a day older. I wonder Sakura will be able to do what she did?
Bald spot for the 4th Raikage

It was really funny seeing Kakashi and Guy. The age really shows on Guy, and he was so active. I bet he was trying to train, hence the bandaged right knee.
The only thing on Kakashi that looks old is his eyes
So no family for Kakashi? That white hair dies with him?

I knew Konohamaru, Udon and Moegi would've gotten important roles.

Sasuke and Sakura's daughter, Salad, eyeing Naruto and Hinata's son, Bolt, was really cool

I love how his hair's growing long. Real Madara like.

Naruto's got the perfect family: a beautiful wife, a son and a daughter.
I love how he doesn't really change; he only matured. He still loves his ramen

Like that One Piece reference on Naruto's headband - or am I over thinking it?

So, we're left to fill in the blanks for Yamato and Orochimaru.

New story next year. Interesting. Dattebayo!

That was a perfect way to end the series. everything was resolved, there weren't any plots that weren't completed and Naruto fulfilled his dream. That was a perfect ending. I'm a guy who likes endings and this passed my expectations. haven't read an ending like that in a long time its bitter sweet but I couldn't picture a better ending

Sasuke's Development has been awesome. He has now catapulted back into being one of my favorite characters, especially with that one liner at the end.

I am extremely sad to see the show end that carried not only myself but most of us through our childhoods. Cheers to that everyone!

Also, he is making an entirely new full series called Naruto: New Generation, which takes place after the 30 chapter miniseries. Im not kidding.

I may b a little confused, so sasuke went from having 0 interest in sakura to having kids with her and still traveling the world, naruto gets less and less cool as he ages, eveyone else got less cool looking as they got older, everyone has kids with seemingly random pairings and random people, and everything ends with actual peace, with kids that seem to only resemble 1 parent in most cases, and sakuras kid likes to stalk bolt. and i almost missed the naruto face marks on hinata's kid and thought that lee and hinata had kids lol.

dude...welcome to aging. getting old is nasty stuff, but that is how the world works. what I felt from reading the last 20-30 manga chapters was a bit rush and confusion over the lots of plots that were left hanging in the air. orochimaro for instance and the kaguya arc which was the climax of the manga fights but did not look like it. all that aside I love the stories that shake your imagination. good job to the writer. I hope they continue making movies or anime of naruto in the future.

Someone told me it was this chick in the bottom panel and supposedly that's why all those cats were around cause she's related to the cat lady that helped Sasuke.

Remember she's also Sakura's kid and Sasuke doesn't spend much time at the village, so she's raised primarily by her mother.

I absolutely loved the ending. Been following the manga for 8 years now, and I just cant believe its over.
But atleast we have the mini series (which im guessing is going to be named Boruto) too look forward to.

The translations got Bolt's name wrong, calling him Bolt is like calling Kakashi for scarecrow orSakura for cherry blossom.
His actual name i Boruto, which in japanese means Bolt.
And Salada is wrong, its supposed to be Sarada

That was a great ending to the greatest series ever IMO. I can't believe it's actually over, Naruto has really changed my life in more ways than one. Thank you Masashi Kishimoto, I am forever a fan.
