Even thought he series is over for now, I have to point something out. Remember the time naruto found out gaara was killed by the akatsuki??? Naruto considered him a close friend and he hardly had a reaction. However, when naruto encountered orochimaru on the bridge and he found out sasuke's status he went four tails. What's with that??? Gaara died and naruto didn't give a tail but when it was sasuke his tails grew three sizes that day. What's witht he inconsistency??

Well I think he was more close with sasuke and had more intense feelings for him. But naruto actually did react to the akatsuki's kidnapping of gaara and the extraction. he went ape shit on deidara and went 2 tails.
