Why would Kishi put cities in Narutoverse?

they had video cameras.... why not buildings?

I recall Kishi stating that he only wants to include low tech things. Like TV's or video cameras as you say. But a ****ing city is not low tech!

I remember they had a city back in early shippuden where sasuke & taka were getting supplies. Though the city seemed abandoned.

It's official. If animals with faster metabolic rates perceive at a faster rate, then this is how a squirrel would conclude the manga. Kishi was ousted by a squirrel. We've been jipped.

Kishimoto established in an interview a long time ago that the Narutoverse already had cities and cars and even planes, he just wasn't showing it, because it was done from the ninjas perspective.

He said that the Narutoverse has a large unexplored aspect to it that he will get into in other stories.

If you want proof you will have to look up the old interviews, but I remember this one.
