"7th stepped down on his own"? (Naruto not Hokage anymore?)

It says on all manga sites that "the 7th stepped down". Isn't that supposed to be Naruto? So it's a mistake and Naruto is gonna stay the Hokage?

I found this late and just posted the same question. It is "mistranslated" in both *********** and Mangapanda versions. Seems unlikely they would both get it wrong.

Any Japanese speakers out there care to tell us what the Japanese raws say?

The Danzo/Kakashi angle does not work. Kakashi is referred to in the last chapters as the sixth hokage. Besides, Danzo was never confirmed as hokage.

Kakashi is the one who stood down in order for Naruto to become Hokage I always thought he would only be hokage for a short while until Naruto was ready to take up the seat seems about right.
