I saw the new data book, and i got me thinking,Jiraiya met nagato 1st during the war and nagato was about
12 years old then Jiraiya trained nagato for 3 years if i remember correctly which should make him
15.

Soon after training ,jiraiya leaves and goes back to the village and becomes a leader of minatos genin group
so minato should be only 12.

If you go by the databook

minato dies at 24 ~ 17 years later he should be 41
nagato was 18 when minato died ~ so 17 years later 35

So minato is 6 years older then nagato according to the data book , when it should be that nagato is 3 years
older then minato.

If minato was really 6 years older then that would mean jiraiya meet and trained a 21 year old minato who was still a genin.

So nagato's real age should be 44 not 35

He was in the academy then, this should chronologically be after or during Jaraiya training Nagato

It was already revealed during the Pein arc by viz that Nagato/Konan were the same age and that Konan died when she was 32.

And Minato died when he was 22, if you follow the timeline of the Naruto series.

This isn't anything new.

But yeah... the databook timeline contradicts the manga's. Lol

Thats true ,jiraiya did consider nagato to be the 1st child of prophecy then minato.
That in itself should give a bit of a age gap between the 2

I'm not sure excatly which chapter it said that nagato was the 1st child of prophecy but i remember the old sage toad telling jiraiya that he would be training/guiding the child of prophecy ,so when jiraiya meet nagato and saw his rinnegan he knew it had to be him.

Although after the war was over and meeting minato many years passed and there was no news of nagato ,so jiraiya thought nagato had died,so all his focus was now on minato , since minato showed extreme potential.

When Jiraiya was tutoring Nagato, Minato was probably training with a chuunin teacher.

As soon as Jiraiya can back he could of been minato's jounin teacher.

Remember that minato took out some chuunin/jounin's that kidnapped Kushina.

No genin can pull that off (except naruto and Sasuke)

Didn't a previous data book list Minato's academy graduation age at 10?

It had Anko at 24 and this one has her at 28...so i don't thing past Info has been changed.

Does the data book confirm that Minato graduated at 10.

It's Minato's, it could be that his later sensei is Jiraiya's second student.
