Can you share what you learned?

I used to think like the OP, that feminists were all crazy women who hated men and were hypocrites.

I've learned that feminism is about equality. Feminism is about people of all genders working for the advancement of all genders until they're equal. Feminism is about women being able to make independent decisions in places like the Middle East where they're oppressed. Feminism is about a man being able to file a report from being abused by a female partner, and it being taken as seriously as if the case was reversed. Feminism is about a transgender person being able to get a job and education on the same level as a cis man and woman. I learned feminism is about equality for all.

Feminism is the belief that women should be treated as intellectual equals to men and have the same potentail as well as abilites to men. Also believing in equal rights for all. Yet I hear these feminists stating "Women are just as great as men, in fact men should be less than women." Really? Another thing I noticed is how dumb the concept of Feminism is. You think you are equal to everyone else, yet the thing you support believes women are not as equal as men yet? OK... That logic makes so much sense. Oh and what is the point of Feminism at all? Women already have equal rights, its called they just choose to be stupid and lazy sometimes. Just support Equality overall and not give your belief a stupid title like Feminism!

Women do tend to go a little overboard but then again feminism when it was created only applied for White or Anglo Saxon women because their men only acknowledge them as breeders an *****-servants and over time that way of treating women started to seep into other culture, but I will destroy that train of thinking that the other half of our species is inferior and we will unite as a people and planet

As for custody- few blame a male for looking for another wife the day after he buries last one. But woman with the custody of the child is not likely to get even half as chances to get another decent guy even after a considerable period. They get custody under assumption that they would be more careful when choosing another father for the kid or probably just stay out of the dating field altogether.

It's nothing to do with feminism. It's a fact. While there may be a few false cases now and then most dowry cases don't get reported at all unless the woman ends up dead.

A lot of guys don't even see anything wrong with the expectations of gifts as they attach with their own valuation. They think only cash demands are part of dowry.


A woman taking care of husband's family is not a big deal but expected. But if she tries to help her parents with her own income she has to be ready for all kinds of taunts from the husband's family or have to say thank you to them over and over for letting her do it.


You either have no idea or bluntly ignoring how difficult it is to lodge a complaint against domestic abuse and fight a case. For custody of children and maintenance it may take years to get any relief and even then the guy may simply delay it and not pay up making you go back to court again. Most women do not have any support system and end up living in the abusive atmosphere because they do not want to lose the kids in the process.

What laws? How many and how much they favour women? What was the last time you studied a case details to reach that conclusion? How many cases have you studied over all?

Ah yea? Or yea it's hubbies hiding behind that mother in law or they would shut them up and make a visible stand and protect the wife. Anyway it's a myth that it's only mother in law. In a lot of cases it's father in law who is pulling all the strings or a husband who is happy that his parents are helping him out and he can maintain an image blaming them all( while he doesn't do anything to remove such a pressure because he is such an obedient child to his parents).

Mother in laws don't murder daughter in laws on their own. A daughter in law has a chance to fight back if it's just an aging woman. What stops her from killing her back?

I find it interesting how you come up with stereotypical accusations of all kinds but shy away from actual reply to the issue.

Feminism reminds me of a scenario when we were kids in gradeshool and used to say in arguments "boys are better than girls" "NO! girls are better than boys", only on a much bigger scale where the decisions of feminists have serious consequences but they're all like kids complaining why they couldn't eat their cake when Steve could.
