The fight between them prolonged just because sasuke had full 9 bijuus and he stole naruto's kyuubi chakra while naruto only had half kyuubi with no intent to kill sasuke.
Yet naruto defeated him.if sasuke had no bijuu then naruto would 1 panelled him.

Naruto is physically stronger than sasuke that's why his bade rasengan outmatched sasuje's chidori + amaterasu combination

Obviously after this fight sasuke will no longer have bijuus that means he will never get this much strong again
