Itachi doesn't needs speed, his genjtsu is on another level (Izanami, crow tech, ect..) Granted "sealing sword" as you call it, is far to slow to connect sauske at this point. In terms of intelligence, Itachi is and Always has been Sauske's main troll since the manga began.

You want people to prove you wrong when you didn't even say how he would win but no he would lose neg diff to Naruto and low to mid from Sasuke (only since CT is his only sealing jutsu he can actually use. Itachi was even to a Naruto who was in intended training used ton of chakra with no rest before the war then split his power 1/13th when he made 12 clones all before fighting Itachi and he wasn't even a perfect jinchuuriki yet. He gain all of Kurama chakra after letting him out of the cage and melding their chakra together. Naruto uses clones to surround Itachi and all use the super Bijuu RasenShurikens and since Yata mirror can't cover all of Final Susanoo he'll be left trying to regenerate but Naruto already hits him with his sealing Rasengan and done. He can speed blitz slash Itachi then seal him as well.

Sasuke can switch himself with Totsuka blade then go PS while Itachi is caught off by surprise and slash Itachi's Susanoo breaking it as his PS is strong enough to full cut through CT meteors. He can then get Totsuka blade and seal Itachi. Or he use PS to push Itachi into using all of his chakra then seal him in CT.

Edo Itachi is weaker than alive Itachi and all of his stats are lower. Lower chakra reserves, speed, strength, ect. Edo's can run out of chakra and need time to replenish it as Minato had to and Minato have a large chakra reserve (Pa toad stated you need a large reserve to learn SM).

If this was a genjutsu battle then 3T Sasuke already seen through all of Itachi's regular genjutsus and he broke Tsukuyomi with 3T+CM. Sasuke's eyes were said to have more power than Itachi's eyes, Sasuje's 3T>Itachi's 3T and Sasuke's MS>Itachi's MS. Sasuke now have EMS and a Rinnegan which puts him on another level than Itachi's eyes powers. Sasuke will easily break any of Itachi's genjutsus and Sasuke's genjutsu is much stronger due to his stronger eyes.

As for people thinking Izanami is going to do anything, Itachi already stated that it's not a jutsu that can be used in battle, he needed Sasuke's help so Kabuto didn't beat him while he tried to set up Izanami. Sasuke also isn't tryibg to be who he's not so it wouldn't even work on him, he wasn't sayind he is Itachi or is the Sage, he knows who he is.

His feelings for his foolish brother will stop him at the last second from chopping sasuke into 9 pieces to show Naruto how its done.
