Will you watch the last if Sasuke has no major role?

While he hasn't been on my all time favorite character list for years until last chapter, I would still be kind of bummed that he didn't get a major role in the movie. Since up to this point, Sasuke has been one of the main characters in this manga and even show. He even fought along side the main character before turning on him for the final time and then making a full development circle by finally coming to terms with his life. Also, it he is quoted in the trailer as saying "If he isn't here, I will just have to protect it myself". When he said it, the village was under attack, so I assume he was talking about Naruto not being in the village and someone needing to protect it.

With all of that said, it would be a let down for both haters, neutrals, and fans alike if he wasn't in the movie as a supporting main character. Haters love to hate, neutrals probably enjoy someone other than Naruto and Sakura from original team 7, and fans...well are fans.

i care more about the plot grabbing my interest, not whether a character i like will have a major role or not. Considering who the villain is, Sasuke will more than likely have a major enough role since i doubt he's someone Naruto can solo.

Sasuke has never had any major roles in Naruto movies, and thank god for that. Excluding Naruto, the movies are mostly for irrelevant characters with generic plot, while this one seems to also include fanfic pairings. Movie will probably ruin Sasuke if he gets more screentime anyway, so as long as he says some badass lines and does something awesome, i won't complain.

He already did in the trailer, a freaking meteor is heading towards him and he just stares it down with a "whatever" face. After that - boom, explosion behind him, still no f*cks given. Three seconds screentime and already the best character, lmao...

I hope he does have a decent size role. I'm interested to see what their friendship has settled into since the fight. I would also like to see how he gets along with everyone else. He did tell Naruto that just because he has accepted him it didn't mean he would accept everyone.

I'm also hoping that the pairings are secondary to the plot not instrumental to it. Hopefully though Kishi has improved when it comes to the women. You only saw Kurenai and Asuma walking together and then she had a baby. Some panels with conversations between them would have been nice aside from her sensing something was wrong as he was dying.
