instead the Hokage is Kakashi, I mean it was said that the movie leads to a new era but some people are saying the movie will be the end of Naruto, naruto's goal was to become Hokage from the beginning of the series and for him to not achieve that is nonsense, it's like saying that Luffy won't become the pirate king....

The Last Movie wants to feature on him in the last of his youth, perhaps Kishi doesn't imagine this plot happening with Naruto just having the responsibilities and expectations of a Hokage. Still, strange decision to still just have this walking demigod sent on a mission with the likes of Shikamaru and Sai...

It's very unsatisfying but this is the last. This IS the end. Kishimoto made a quote about how Naruto's last story to tell is one about love.

Guys guys, Kishimoto said that this movie is very conected with the manga and he also said that the movie is taking place in the blind space between naruto vs sasuke last battle and the end of the manga. So, it is very posible that in the last chapter we will see naruto hokage alongside kakashi and in the movie we could see how naruto becamed hokage after kakashi.
