I don't, all I do is pay bills and buy necessary things and wants. I suppose I contribute economically but that's about it. I don't mean it in a bad way but outside the people I care about I don't intend on contributing for anyone else behalf

Why not? All that someone has to do is pay taxes, work, etc. If times are rough, then I understand, but I don't understand otherwise.

No I'm saying that I didn't realize that isolating myself from everything was a bad idea until I was at a very inconvenient juncture.

Well by default we're contributing to society as it contributes to us by merely existing in it
People who don't contribute at all aren't allowed to live in it, those are usually the homeless.
The ones who contribute the most are usually the most rewarded because society grants them wealth.
