Kaguya doesn't just stand there and let guy hit her, like Madara did. More likely she would just drop him in the lava dimension and be done. Or troll him with portals. HE can't kill her no matter what he does though.

8G Gai we're talking here and not 7G. If Gai wasn't weakened before, he won't be on the ground after one shot of Hirudora considering the blast pushed Madara back as well. He would have jumped back and opened the 8th. The only role of the support team was to help him get past the TSB which he couldn't touch.
