[Discussion] Gon and Killua Phantom Troupe Level?

Are Gon and Killua, the ones who were fighting the Royal Guards, Phantom Troupe Level? I'm not talking about Adult Gon who could obviously annihilate Hisoka with ease.

Gon - Mastered the basics of Nen well and his signature move 'Rock' is not to be taken lightly at all. If he connects, the fight could easily be over. And his battle smarts enable him to connect too. During Greed Island Arc, his 'Rock' was already very powerful and by the time of Chimera Ant Arc climax, it must've improved further. How do you think he compares to a PT Enhancer like Uvogin?

Killua - Also mastered the basics of Nen well and his electricity transmutation could possibly make him the fastest character on foot we've seen yet. His reflexes and speed in Godspeed render him invincible and almost impossible to hit. In his scuffle with Youpi, he was practically smacking Youpi around. But as was seen, he doesn't possess unlimited amounts of electricity and needs to recharge.

Where would these two be ranked in the among the PT? Top, Middle or Lower Tier? Or below all PT? You can overlook Killua's brother, if you want, who recently replaced Hisoka and is obviously weaker than the rest.

Adult Gon is really overrated.
You can't say adult Gon can beat Hisoka with ease. You didn't see Hisoka go all out to tell.
The normal Gon would beat Machi, Shizuku, Kortopi and Kalluto. Loses to the rest.

As for Killua he'd put good fights against the tougher ones like Feitan, Nobunaga and Phinks with godspeed. He might lose some and win some.
All these are baseless assumption, really. We never saw them go all out as I said.

Gon & Killua are both very strong... but Gon will frorever have the plot-shield...
which makes him able to one-shot anyone like he did to Neferpitou...

however... Killua is like Sasuke... he's got a high standard... but when it's getting serious... he also kinda rages and one-shots his opponent(?)

i would like to see their real "base-strenght" before answering this question...
it seems they both always win their fight with "trump cards" imo

I disagree with Machi, that girl got some serious skills and is combat oriented unlike the others you named.

I'd rank Normal Gon to be above Uvogin. Enraged Gon would obviously be Phinks level, I'd say above.

Killua should be the same as Gon. I'd say above Maki. With Kanmuru, he'd be Feitan level, or something like that.

I was actually basing Adult Gon against Hisoka based on what we've seen. Hisoka in a fight in Heaven's arena got his arms cut off. He almost lost that fight, well, he would've if it wasn't for his composure. But then again, with Hisoka, it's all a game to him so he could've still been holding back. I said Hisoka and not Chrollo as Chrollo is a skill based fighter who could have abilities enabling him to beat people stronger than him.
I don't think Gon could beat Machi.

Gon and Killua still lost to Knuckle and Shoot. Gon also lost to Hanzo and Hisoka. By 'Base strength' you mean Nen minus Hatsu? But Killua's Hatsu is what makes him OP...

Machi is strong, but her Hatsu isn't strictly battle-oriented. She should still beat Gon though.

I'd say Machi is stronger than Gon. And Shalnark is stronger than you've put him. Killua could be very OP though. What if he carries a sword and beheads his enemy in Godspeed? Only people with very hard skin would survive that.

Damn straight. The chimera ant arc pretty much said Gon surpassed killua. That moment when killua confronts gon in his booty short muscle mode was the moment you realized killua was nothing but a tiny boy compared to the true potential on a nen master (gon)

She is physically stronger than Chrollo and Nobunaga and home girl told Feitan and Phinks that she would not be a easy kill if they tried to fight her. And they kept their mouth shut about that comment.

I don't know. I think Machi is more like Top 8. Shalnark and Nobunaga should take her, not sure about Bonolenov, Franklin. Hisoka's Hatsu is pretty handy in a fight, as he proved against Kastro. Someone in the PT also stated that Hisoka's abilities are difficult to counter. Hisoka is interested in all members of PT.

Yup. I have this crazy theory that Gon "adult mode" might be something passed down from Don Freecs because as we all know he is alive and somewhere in the continent. Perhaps this was an adaptation for survival, gon just tapped into that early in his life.

Also the fact that Hisoka was so mesmerized by machi and her abilities proves how powerful she is. Hisoka is without a doubt a top tier hunter, if he is impressed by someone, we should probably be too.

You gotta love hunter though, it is all a mystery until the next chapter XD
