The reason Sasuke said he lost was because he didn't complete his one and only mission, to kill Naruto. Naruto in the other hand, won. He was able to take back Sasuke to the good side as well as accept that he can't do anything alone. The outcome was clear if you were trailing what happens to every other villains (except for some obvious ones). Everyone of those characters, as well as many others, accepted that their own forceful proposition will never work on a strong-willed person like Naruto.

I'm a huge naruto fan(if that wasn't obvious). However I do believe they are both equal. Kishi has said it, and naruto and sasuke found out forever ago, that if they both were to fight all-out that they would die. Even looking at them now, they are basically dying, and have the potential to die until someone comes to save them(which will happen). Sasuke technically lost since he didn't kill naruto in this fight to continue his plans. Narutos only goal in this fight was to prevent sasuke from killing him(by stopping him) and to try and change him, which just happened. So basically Sasuke lost and Naruto won based off of their goals in this fight. However at the end of the day, I still believe they are more-or-less equal.

I think he "lost" the battle against Naruto, but won the battle against himself, he found peace. He finally was capable to recognize that he was wrong all the time and he will stop *****ing like a bipolar rebel teenage. As Naruto said, it was a battle that doesn't have winner or loser, it was a battle between friends, to slap some sense into Sasuke's head. That's why I think it's useless to discuss who is more powerful or who really won, they both lost their arms afterall lol

This is what I wanted to say! He did not lose physically but emotionally. I´m really a bit fed-up of the Sasuke vs Naruto fans! I like both. Though I´m not sure if killing Naruto was "his mission", it was just something he needed for his "loneliness plan" to work.

Seems a lot of people did not pay attention to what Sasuke always thought about Naruto, now that it is mentioned.

What do you mean Naruto may have defeated Sasuke, but Sasuke won in Combat? WTH is that? When Normal Rasengan neglected the BlackFlame Enclosed with Chidori Sasuke himself knows that its a clear sign to back off. Sasuke tried every jutsu he knows against Naruto, everything just wont work against him. Why do you fan boys can't accept that?

The fact you can't comprehend that shows you should read something closer to your reading level, maybe a picture book from the kid's section at the library. Naruto and Sasuke fought at full power and ended up in the same condition, thus a draw. Anything else is nothing but Naruto fanboys making petty excuses.

As a sasuke fan, these threads are more annoying then the recent turn of events. Not all sasuke fans want the same thing so don't generalize. I always wanted sasuke to admit his wrongs and move forward instead of holding resentments. Other fans simply want to see sasuke murder everyone in a masochistic blood bath
