He is kaguyas husband he kidnapped hanabi cause she is kaguyas reincarnation and he wants to revive her. Well the sage didn't have byakugan so it means hamaru got byakugan from his mother and the sage got his eyes from his father which then turned into rinnegan. Dattebayo!
