There are plenty of Tsundere female characters who're very popular. It's because they're really Kawaii in general. Sakura is probably the ugliest Kunoichi in Naruto, which is a reflection of her personality

If Sakura was half as attractive as Ino, she would get much less hate

Sakura in Naruto the Last looks much better than current. It's really hard to hate a pretty female anime character, for me at least

It's their general behaviour, personalities and their part in the plot what are deciding factors for me. For example, I absolutely can't stand Hinata (despite her being quite pretty) for being a useless, spineless pokemon.

Sakura, well... She's just terribly stupid, illogical and useless too.

Not to mention that good/bad looks is an extremely subjective thing. Tastes differ, you know.

Sakura being ugly is a popular public opinion, not my own. Better looking female characters are much less hated in general from what I see. I'm not saying people will stop hating her, because Sakura is a terrible character to begin with

She doesn't have long hair in the new movie, but she definitely looks much better

She is pretty. I just dont like her harsh personality towards naruto. I mean kushina was also violent, but not that extensively harsh. Tgough tsunade ihas similiar harsh personality as sakura. Especially naruto is the beloved hero of the manga who has/had a crush on her and showing it openly. Sakura need anger management class, maybe then i would like her more.

I think the animation doesn't make justice to kishi's sketches of Sakura. She looks pettier in the sketches but her clothes could definitely be better too.
